Yes absolutely correct!!! It's not what a manipuri wedding is like.. The actual manipuri wedding is totally different and also the dressing of bride and groom is different..in the second song of this video manipuri song is being used (fir those who don't know)

funfact: the majority used to live in Manipur earlier but thanks to inter tribal politics and the frequent attacks on western side from the Maratha,the palas, the magadhis ,the avantis and the mughals and the annexation war from the Burmese crippled Manipur entirely and made their people fugitives thus they dispersed towards bangladesh , Assam (as PAIKS ) , Tripura, Odisha , Tibet , very few in Myanmar as slaves or sharanarthis .......

If they say we Bishnupriya Manipuris are not real Manipuris then we can simply say they are not Indian....cuz they are Sino Tibetan ....also their ancestors were not Hindus...they followed Sanamahism religion...whereas we BISHNUPRIYA MANIPURI are real Hindus and real Indians....also we r descendants of Chitrangada(wife of Arjun).......well they started racism first by saying us Bengali cuz we have similar face structures and also some similar rituals with Bengali....well why not?... after all both Bishnupriya Manipuris and Bengalis are real Hindus so we will obviously have similarity 😂..... similarly they should not have problem if people call them Chini....right??.......tribal North Easterns bark about racism outside North East when people call them Chinese whereas they themselves are so racist that people who are not fair and do not have small eyes here in North East aren't even considered North Easterns😂....also I somewhat agree that things have changed over time.... earlier we BM never used Potloi during wedding but we do wear it in Rajleela....also if we would be so influenced by Meitei people then we may have adopted Thambal too😂...but we didn't....we love our Rajleela and Rakhwal.... there's always fusion over time ....things get mixed up.....but if people start racism...slap them with racism ...cuz unhi ki bhasha me unhe smjhana zaruri he

@@pikachue602 see I didn't said that bisnupriyas never wear potlois they do wear but i said that as far as Ik they didn't used to wear it on weddings ...... And i don't think we should debate on such a lil thing. Everything changes with time and that's natural and i really don't want our meitei and bisnupriya community to fight over things like who are real nobody knows the true history it's better to think about the future rather, than finding the history..... But at some point it is truth that just like how today economic liberalisation helped in creating a diverse ecosystem similarly in the past there was a diverse society b'coz we know that trades did happened and in a huge amount too....
