Looks like a pretty good sized arena.. are you sure it's Poughkeepsie? I caught a leg of this tour when they opened up for Sammy Hagar VOA tour, in October, at the former Glens Falls Civic Center in Glens Falls NY...
those 5'0" Italians can really sing! This guy should have been more famous because he has the range and tone of Klaus Meine and Bon Scott combined. He even sounds like Bon at times and I know he did some AC/DC tributes too.
You should do a guitar cover of this, I wish I could but my hands are pretty much screwed from arthritis and paresthesia in my left hand makes it even worse.
@@ShaelynneDFuller I did a vocal cover of it but prob won't do guitar. It's not really all that on guitar, imo. It's fine but nothing I'd want to cover. ty!!! sorry bout your hands.
i used to rent this whole concert on vcr tape from my local movie theater, yeah, im old.......the whole video caught them at their most rockin period! rented it like nine times! loved the extended version of stayed awake....eat the rich, long stick, the whole thing just whopped ass!
Merci Krokus !!!!!!!! 🙏
Bought the Headhunter album when it first came out just by the cover alone . You didn't have the advantage of samples of an album back then so you took a chance . Glad I did , The album is excellent , been a Krokus fan ever since
Oh Christ I can't seem to get off these 80's vids tonight ! I'm going to end up being late for work ! Just can't help it !!! I love 80's and 90's rock and metal . Always have and alw will !!!!
I went to Sedona AZ to Liberty Bell. Found a remote place to meditate and was overtaken by some force that is hard to describe. A few minutes later, a man walked by (which was weird because I was off the trail) who was maybe Hispanic or American Indian. At that moment i was doing some sort of yogic slow motion kung fu thing (randomly and strangely isnpired). He looked at me and smiled. I half smiled back as I was in a weird space. He just walked by and left. Afterwards (maybe 30 minutes later) I was so overwhelmed i could not drive. My wife drove me back to the hotel. We went home a day later and I was trippin still. I went to work out at home and felt the same energy crept back in my body. It was a little dark. I felt strong and empowered. For some reason this song came on and I cranked it up. I felt incredibly powerful as a force overtook me. I lifted weights far beyond my ability and the workout was crazy, felt good and I had a crazed, powerful feeling of super human strength. That was 3 years ago. The power I felt was invigorating and scary. I was stronger then ever but I felt as if a dark (not evil though) power had infiltrated my psyche and body. Very weird it was. It has taken a while not to be psyched out by that because it felt dark and I want to be light. The powers at Sedona are not to be taken lightly. My wife was mad at me for tapping into powers when I do not have the grounding to handle them. Forever, this song will be tied to that experience. I do not know why. What it meant to me may not have been the intention of Krokus, but the universe is a strange place and I believe this song ties into something powerful that perhaps, even they, did not understand at the time. Music is powerful, I think this song taps into something (the Universe) that the artist were able to channel. My guess is they do not even know exactly how the music came to them or why the lyrics are as they came to the author. I do know that it had a powerful mystical effect on me, and I believe it likely did on them as they played it. Anyhow, great song. Peace be with all of us.
Sons of vengeance, can you rescue me They got me tied up to an old oak tree They had me screamin' and alone in the night I'm beginning to see what's wrong and what is right What is wrong and what is right Oh, oh, what is wrong and what is right The gates was gettin' rusty, as we sailed into the dark The stars were out and shinin' against the moonlit hour The wolves were out and howlin', most of the time And I was cold and shiverin' and bleedin' in the night Bleedin' in the night, Oh, oh bleedin' in the night Screaming in the night, Fighting for my life, I'd die for you I knew it all along, headed for the sun, Our love was true (our love was true) Screaming in the night Fighting for my life, I'd die for you I knew it all along, headed for the sun Our love was true, ah ah ah oh oh oh In the corner of the valley, we took him by surprise The sound of steel rang loud, above the battle cries I found her lying lifeless, dagger through her heart I picked her up, and held her high And I swore to be avenged Swore to the best, oh swore to be avenged, oh Screaming in the night, fighting for my life, I'd die for you I knew it all along, headed for the sun Our love was true (our love was true) Screaming in the night, fighting for my life, I'd die for you I knew it all along, headed for the sun Our love was true, oh Screaming in the night, fighting for my life, I'd die for you, oh I knew it all along, headed for the sun Our love was true (our love) Screaming in the night, fighting for my life, I'd die for you, oh I knew it all along, headed for the sun (Our love was true, oh)
Wow...I never Marc Storace had such a great voice...I thought it was just a studio voice...how wrong I was. Headhunter was def one of the best albums of the 80's. Not a bad song on it.
Yep, we may think we are cool , but we'll never be so cool as to have a "smokeable" item thrown into your hair AND metal chicks throwing their clothes onto the stage in the same song :) .... but seriously, this for me is the Definitive Live performance of one of my favorite metal songs .... Lead Singer Marc Storace has his own RU-vid page for his new band here ... ru-vid.com/show-UCqSsBmCdW6cx1eFYk1_0FMA
