You've got a good dealer there. Krone is a good piece of equipment and a company that stands behind its product. Another nice video. Your camerawoman catches on quick.
I think your new camera lady is doing rather well congratulations to her. I could do with one of those to mow the lawn lol it certainly does look a very nice machine looking forward to tomorrows installment
Man you would look so cool in that machine buzzing you way across those fields. It looks like one heck of a mowing machine. I think I see another Krone coming to the farm.......
We run an 05 big m 2 here in Colorado an they will take down a lot of hay in a day! The older done are quite high maintenance but one operator can almost do the the job of 2 windrowers, smooth ride in the field is another big advantage! Hope to see you demo one!
Hi Wes, I'm running a Big M II in West central Illinois, love it. Running in rough ground it really works good. Tine conditioner running in grass/alfalfa mix and straight alfalfa. Tim
Wes just wanted to drop you a line we really appreciate your videos. Can't wait to see the new tractors in the field this spring. Have you ever considered the 1290 hdpll ? If you keep going you mite have to start running 2 balers. That a lot of ground you all cover with one baler and one sprayer Appling your fertilizer . On the bright side it would also give you more time for videos. lol Give Tim a shout out. Keep up the good work. Thanks
That's a big old piece of iron Wes. It would be a sweet machine to cover the amount of hay ground that you do. Makes the old IH 990 9' sickle haybine we have look like a Tonka toy, much less the NH discbine we run.
The cab is only partly krone own! In the mk2 series m they went over to the Fendt interior, making only slight changes to the fendt concept. But the entire armrest were the same. In the new one te armrest is the same, only they have made their own "drivestick". The rest of the cab is new! Exactly the same goes for the interior of their forage harvesters. Greetings from sweden!
we have one at our company. And what can I say.. she runs and cuts grass like a beauty.. this machine has only one mature problem, the two outside mowers don't have a protection.. what I mean, if you hit a fencerow or a tree it will just bend the entire arm's, which hold the mowers.. not so nice and quiet expensive.. other from that, it's awesome..
I love that Theresa is filming these. She can capture a hell of a lot more than Wes can whine he's busy. The people bitching are just jealous that Wes has such a lovely helpful girlfriend.
Their safe cut cutterbar is very ingenious. Roll pin protection with the turtle raising out of the way after shearing so you don't shear the adjacent turtles.
Wes: I have often wondered where you got the name of your channel and I just came across the vid in which you told the story. Tough break lad! Happy to see you rose above it and have moved on and become very successful, Good for you. I really enjoy your posts
Looks like you got the Krone disease now Wes, you can understand why they make the best hay and forage machinery in the world after all the input and assistance Krone has given you with your baler wanting to know how they can help and assist you in having the best most efficient baler, that's why Krone is such a good machine because they listen and work with the end user not like NH who couldn't care less basically!
Are you thinking about buying one in the future? Obviously not near future but in the future. Great vids just found them earlier this week and i really like them. Keep up the great work.
My uncle had 2 of those here in Oklahoma... they would lay down alot of hay but I remember him having alot if trouble with the headers cracking out and trouble with the transmission
LOL yeah i have been around a few Krone Machines and for the the Euro Versions they all use power from MAN or MTU I Would take the MAN Engine over the Cat after getting a Demo of the New Fendt 1050 Vario that will also be in the New Challenger 1000 Series tractors The MAN engine makes tons of Torque at Low Revs
Could Theresa please stay close to Wes so we can hear what they are talking about? If i want shots of the thing i can see them on the Krone website or anywhere else for that matter. But hearing Wes talk about it like this is a one time event.
Because, Krone must be doing something right, due to the fact, I was talking with a man who is a fifth generation farmer here in the U.S. in which his family has used nothing but John Deere. However, the past two years has been switching over to almost nothing but Krone equipment. I believe he has a couple tractors, and some antique John Deere tractors but that is about all.
for a wider wheel base you could ask if it would be possible to add extensions to the wheels. Like shim plate between rim and machine. Krone could check because of resulting stress is the axles how much wider you could make the wheel base.
Rainer Janssen Wheel tread is t;he distance between left and right wheel centerlines. Wheelbase is the distance between front and rear axle centerlines,
Dude, you need to check out KdwagCrazy, seriously. Ya'll could be twins!! Separated at birth!! Huge fans of you both. Husband and I watch both channels. Hubby raised, hay, hogs and tobacco. Keep up the good videos!!
Very nice machine, that thing would be a nice addition to your operation but I imagine it's a very pricey machine too. With the 30ft. cut you probably can't mow very fast though. It sure would be cool though if you ever win the lottery
Well I guess 30ft is twice the width of the John Deere even a 5 or 6mph he could probably mow the same amount of acres in a day may even a little more. But man that a lot of money
I think she gets in the habbit of not looking at the camera when she is filming... I catch myself doing that at times and if I stare at the screen I can see if im being to shakey.. or on center of everything..... She will get it in time
