Nothing about this guitar worked when I got it. The neck was installed crooked, and none of the electronics were wired up. I fix all that in this video and also play some p@$$y melting riffs. Happy New Year kids! Special shout out to Brad the Guitologist, who inspired part of this video title, who made me pee my pants laughing this week with his SPF video. I don't care about his beef with PMK, I just thought the comedy routine was super funny and every time he says FLEX, I laughed so hard!!!

:D Nice fix. A lot of times there's so much play in the body holes you can loosen all 4 screws and adjust the neck before re-tightening. I know you knew that, but this is the better fix.

I have a Kramer nightmare as well. I was such a stupid kid back in the 90s. I destroyed every thing. I'm not even sure I can salvage it.

That's awesome, I had no idea. I actually have a guitar where one neck screw is drilled at a 30 degree angle and also the neck sits at a silly angle, I thought about doweling like this but thought the wood would be too soft. But now after seeing this, I am going to the "chinese shop" (dollar store kinda deal) to buy cheap dowels and doing this as soon as possible!

That thing is hideous with crooked pickup and hockey stick head stock. Good to see maple back and rosewood board, that’s my favorite neck but you can kill someone with that pointy thing.

It’s kind of a shame that you put so much work into filling the holes. It looks like you could have used the method where you loosen the strings and neck bolts and adjust the angle, using the strings as a guide. As for the unwired electronics, there’s no alternative to just wiring it up. P.S: if you tried the loosen-and-yank method and it didn’t work, I take it all back.

Totally agree. This thing just needed to have the screws loosened, yank the neck into position and tighten. You can get as much as 1/8" using this method, in my experience.

It would just be a crying shame if someone were to use this form and report Philip McKnight for possible tax fraud - lets say he purchases guitars, deducts this purchase from his business as expenses, then returns the guitars for a refund, he would then be fraudulently receiving tax deductions for an expense his business never had. That would be illegal? In which case someone could report that crime here: azdor.gov/contact-us/report-tax-fraud
