Escaping Griselbrand sure sounds quite flavorful. I can't join the Patreon, but if I may, I would like to see your Brawl take on Ziatora the Incinerator. My build is based around jund big dudes synergy, full of 5+ power bodies so I can have good stuff to fling at the face or other key targets. Also have bit synergy for treasure (Magda into Zia's hubby, Korvold, is always one of the best combo, if not Phyrexian Portal) as well as token creatures. For what she does, I think Ziatora can go really wide on the deck type she can command. I ended up having a pile of all Jund's goodstuff (big dudes, sac, treasure/big dude token makers), and while it can generate massive value if things line up well, I have pretty much zero instant/sorcery for extra early-game helping or disruption, so things can quickly fell apart if opp can answer your tempo diligently. Jund is not lacking in good etb/sac effect creatures, but just as is the case with non-ramp decks, there can be a handful clunky starting hands, as I still can't quite find the perfect land color ratio for this one. But nevertheless, winning or losing, each play I had with her is always a blast. I wonder your take with Ziatora, if you ever plan to build one 😁
Looks like a fun alternative to a Satoru Umezawa deck. A lot of people just instantly concede against Umezawa which I understand. Maybe they will let me play the game with Kroxa and Kunoros.
Hey legend, i'd like to hand in an idea for Brawl video improvement: it would provide good value to the format, if you could add the opponent's commander to the time stamps (e.g. 9:31 Etali). So people could jump to commanders they are interested in or skip the more boring ones. What do you think?
@@LegenVD I play a UR standard version of Ura-Storm with Haughty Djinn and all the 2 mana red draw spells (Wrenn's Resolve, etc.). Not the same format, but you could try, it's a lot of fun when storm happens ! Also saw someone play a proliferate version of it.
@@daniellugosi Mainly I'm wondering if there's anyway to win due to 0 deck size or milling that much. There's no laboratory Maniac effect in these colors but maybe Syr Konrad, the Grim or something?
24:18 I can't believe you got away with letting a Jetmir untap with four creatures, five cards in hand, and five mana. If they'd managed to get nine creatures in play (entirely possible from that state), you'd be eating 46-12-8=26 damage. Imagine a March of the Multitudes right there.
Looks like Cut // Ribbons doesn't export properly from Aetherhub. Just paste the list in notepad and remove that line or replace it with: Cut /// Ribbons (AKR) 231
@@soybomb777 And I rather play against cards that exist that do effects that exist and that weren't altered to have those effects when their real life counterpart was perfectly fine and could have been implemented normally in arena but the higher ups thought it would be fun to trash actual card designs.
@@KiuhKobold different strokes, but I'd still rather play against that than Atraxa or Etali. Obviously broken cards strangle creativity in deck building and do more to make the game unfun and unpleasant for me than cards that are designed for digital play first
Well... looks like I am crafting. In a year or so... when I have enough wildcards since Ive spent them ALL on Zurgo and Ojuitai brawl deck 🤣🤣🤣 Btw - is there YET another bug on arena? My friend was playing Standard Event and it was full of fables and invokes - no kidding... Should someone tell wizards? He was very frustrated as you can imagine 😑😞
