I'd fallen in love with this after hearing it on pirate radio. I did my search in a lot of record shops in Soho (London) when I found it was on the soundtrack to a film called The Corruptor. As it was never released in the UK, I spent my weekly earnings (I was 15) to buy the album on import, just for this one song. You'd never need to do that now. That thrill of buying a song you really liked and playing it over and over - that was one the best feelings as a 15 year old and in that golden decade for hip-hop.
When American hiphop had clout krs has got to be my favourite. He's saying do as want but stop think first. I love hiphop where after the tune you look some stuff up and go learn. Doctors should scrap the drugs give em some weed tell them to listen to some decent hiphop and find yourself or any music that puts you in that mind state. I have people that hate on my music but listening to some mumbling rapper that is just boring asf and all the same. Just shows to me I shouldn't hang or give them anymore time than I have to. I've learnt over time music has a big influence on people they may not act like that person but there mind set will be the same. Call me a tin hat guy but it has been proven frequencies have a effect on the brain and been used as a form of meditation also has effect on your moods they can enhance or dull. So people know where I'm coming from lol.

Reminds me of my late older brother and a friend who put me on to rap. Buckshot's verse was always my favourite and Keith Murray was my bro's favourite rapper and Enigma was the first rap album I ever listened to as a kid. Good ol' times!!!

Is Vigilante the same dude who rapped on Krs I Got Next album, on the track H.I.P H.O.P. ?? He's credited as El Thor on there but im sure its same guy. If so, the video youre referring too is called Patience by El Thor. Thats all i can find on him though
