Join us on this 8-day camping adventure in Kruger National Park From South to North.Our journey begins at Crocodile Bridge and takes us to Satara Rest Camp, where we spend four nights, including Christmas Day. On December 26th, we depart Satara amidst the onset of rain and head to Punda Maria, where we set up camp in the downpour. It rained throughout the night, and we navigated stormy weather to reach Crooks Corner, which led to numerous gravel road closures in the park. Driving the most scenic road in the park on a storm was the highlight of the trip and this is a memory that will live with us forever. The Safari region is such a beauty.
If you love lions, this adventure is perfect for you! We encountered lions every day except for the day we arrived and the day we left the park. Satara lived up to its reputation for big cat sightings, with lions everywhere, including the rare white lion.
