Yes we did mostly self-driving and then one sunrise safari and one sunset safari which were guided. You’re not allowed self-driving at those times so the only way to see the park is by tours. And it’s a good time to spot animals! You need to book in advance as these tours sell out quickly. We booked via the official park’s website (link below video)
You do need to pay a daily conservation fee. It will automatically be added to your bill when you book accommodation inside the park. So you just need to bring and show that confirmation!

We booked it a month in advance and there weren't that many spots available anymore. At some camps they were completely booked. So we definitely recommend booking them as early as possible! There are limited spots
