@@drewm1808 it's not epic because it's like B roll lol. It only lasts for like 4 seconds. Also, I don't think LA gang members would be blasting an underground NY rap duo in that era
M.O.P. is easily one of my favorite ever groups, and they have so many dope verses amongst the two of them, but this may be the best verse Danze has ever spit. Stole the show on one of the dopest tracks out there.
Yo, I been labelled a bad guy since birth, I was put on the part of the earth\Where the turf is rugged, never smooth\Whatta ya got to lose? Not a damn thing\That's why I holler Ante Up when ya holler bling bling\How do I survive? I strap up on my heat\I get out on the beat, I find a way to eat\See, William never sleep, ya think of somethin sweet\And I will counter, li-li-lift ya ass up off ya feet\Shackle me in chains, tamper with my brain\Spit a 10 digit number when ya call me by my name\The system has been aimed, for every 211\And every 187, my niggas get the blame\What happened to Diallo was a mothafuckin shame\How 'bout if I spit 41 at you and end the game\But all disrespect intended to any lieutenant\Who feel offended by the way I represent it bitch! More relevant today than ever
This song came out at a time when Norwegian media couldn’t care less about rap music, but they actually reviewed this album and specifically singled out the verse from Krumb as a certified stand out. A criminally underrated artist.
I went to Japan recently and on my flight home I was listening to this song as my plane hit the Motherfuckin Tarmac at LAX. Take me back to the hood...
@BlueBallz i was in HS when this came out and personally I felt it was the "Fuck the police" song of my generation. The George Floyd murder made me feel like we haven't moved very far from how shit was with Diallo.

Damn I remember rocking this song 12 years ago back in high School With my over sized baggy pants, over sized jacket, over sized head phones and over sized Creative Hard drive based MP3 player ! Those where the days....
