Apparently "shake a stick at" has recorded history since 1818 - Lancaster Journal of Pennsylvania dated 5 August 1818: “We have in Lancaster as many Taverns as you can shake a stick at”.

More accurately, wyverns in myth have four limbs and can't breathe fire while dragons in mythology can have any number of wings or none at all (hence why dragons usually have connotations with snakes, especially with words like wyrm or ormr). Mythology loves to resist classification. In Warhammer, though? Rules apply as Janet stated.
