Yea I was the guy who took it too seriously. But now that I play trombone I'm _so_ glad that I played recorder. Honestly the only good part was learning to read music
xX DRAGONXx Tap on your screen and in the top right hand corner there is an icon that looks like 3 dots stacked on top of each other. Once you tap on that it will give you a few options.Tap on playback speed and choose your speed.
I remember I used to play recorder so much it was my hobby but look at me now after 2 years I stopped playing this right here is proof that we humans get bored of things real quick
I've played the clarinet and flute, you're blowing too hard. It's more like the strength of when you whistle and a kazoo, not an empty-your-lungs type of blow.
ISometimesHaveFun Try doing whistle when you are blowing the recorder. I had a very good teacher when I learned recorder, and that’s why I still like recorder today
Absolutly , caregiver of offspring denoting the sex that produces small, typically motile gametes, especially spermatozoa, with which may be fertilized with a female ovum to produce a zygote.
Nadia Hamada I don’t know how to describe it honestly. It just comes natural over time I guess. That’s how i learned it at least. I know on reed instruments you move your lips up and down on the reed.
This tutorial brings me hope in any skill I have, but I know the minute I put my lips on a recorder it’ll sound like fifty Beluga whales cursing Neptune and crushing all of bikini bottom simultaneously. Nonetheless thanks for blessing our ears dad 👌
@@boiledlava9305 it's pretty much when you play one note and play the same note but it sounds higher or lower (example, middle class and high c is an octave)
When I was in third grade, we were supposed to start learning how to play the recorder. I was really excited because I had relatives who played instruments and I wanted to be able to do it too. But more and more time passed and we just never did. The recorders just never came and broke my 9 year old heart.
Thank you for this, I used to love playing the recorder when I was 10 and was really good, until I left it and haven't played ever since. I don't know how I found my old recorder, it's been 11 years and I'm going to start playing it again, it's cause of you that I remember why I used to play it.
I literally just watched your other video, subscribed to you, and got my recorder. Apparently you made a tutorial video a few seconds right after I came back with my recorder. What sort of magic is this?
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I just made a video of me learning this song from your tutorial, with my progress and process. I credited you in my description. Thank you once again ^_^ ❤
you say that as if it doesn’t take work to be where he is. You don’t get born to play the recorder lmao. You could definitely work on it. Don’t act as if he didn’t have to work on it too. If you really wanted to, you could. It’s just work.
Much as I appreciate the other comment, I'll be the boring factual guy here and say that most woodwind instruments cover more or less the same holes. Fingerings can be different because most people's hands aren't large enough to reach everything they need to on a saxophone, or precise enough for those of a piccolo.
