Yeah, I don't get why people keep changing phones for the sake of keeping in trend. My parents are financially well, yet my mom has so many old items and despite numerous times of me nagging at her to spoil herself time to time, she doesn't listen HAHAHAHAHAH. She has a 20++ years old ballpen that is still usable.... god knows how she does it. The last time she changed a phone was probably at least 5 years ago.

She is infact more “popular” with the Korean audience compared to Krystal bug when it comes to trends and IT factor, Krystal has always been known for that. I love how she keeps some of her electronic stuff for years (like the macbook and headphones) cause she's still comfortable using it. Not all people with money do that

원래 아이돌 별로안좋아하는데 첨으로 매력있구나 느낀게 크리스탈이였음. 그때만해도 섹시 아니면 귀여움같은 진부한 이미지들만 있었을때인데 예쁜데 분위기있고 약간 중성적인?느낌도 들고 고급스러운 애가 나오니까 왠만하면 예쁘단얘기 안하던 우리엄마도 크리스탈 예쁘다그러더라. 그뒤로 시크한 이미지 따라한 아이돌들 많은데 아직도 크리스탈만의 이미지는 절대 똑같이 흉내못냄
Krystal is so effortlessly stylish. She rarely follows trends (in fact, she leads them...). She just likes what she likes but because she has great taste, it's just all 'aesthetic'. Like how did she manage to make me want a Cookie Monster pencilcase??
I think more than "resourceful" its the fact that she takes good care of her thing that they last that long. Its honestly a wonder how she still uses a 10-year old headphones while in my case they only lasts like 6 months or so
something i didn't know about krystal but i find very admirable: she seems to take care of her products very very well. i'm not the best with products, i break a lot of things or misplace them. but the fact she's kept headphones for over 10 years and still uses a laptop from 5 years ago just makes me really admire her. she seems to care about her products as well as not give in to the rampant consumerism a lot of people, let alone celebrities, fall into. i admire her a lot.
laptops are easy to maintain ngl. but those headphones tho, how is it in the best quality??!! I have replaced atleast 5 pairs in the last 3 years and that is saying alot. I love how she is humble and she admits to liking "quirky" things. For example that nose pencil sharpener (lowkey want that tho loll). Most female kpop idols would stick to cutesy things to stay on trend
