all Korean universities are good in their own way. If you want the most prestigious university which have high ranks, I would suggest looking into SKY universities

I lived in Korea for eight years. This is the hardest science high school in korea, not like your K-Drama kinda school. The pressure students go through, the syllabus they have to cover, the research and projects they are involved in is so intense that sometimes students quit in the middle. I highly recommend it if you are a science freak, passionate to do something by going through an immense pressure. But if you are k-drama fan having fantasy of korean life, this is not the right place to be in. Because your grades will suck and you may not even get into a korean university with poor grades.Some students even quit and went back to their countries. Come as a carbon, go through tons of pressure, study till late night and become a diamond. If you wanna enjoy korean life you better come after high school from your home country
100% on point. That's what I always tell everyone, kdrama won't save you nor give you anything. And about grades - so true and people quitting and going back home. However, if people don't try it themselves and don't go through this journey of their choice they won't understand it fully. At the end of the day, You won't know if you don't try it yourself

You are welcome ✨️ 1. You won't be able to submit your transcripts now, only online application form. I don't think there's any problem submitting them but just you won't be able to do so. 2. You will have to submit your transcripts that have all your subjects ' grades - the whole transcript. Even if the school is focused on math and science they also look at other subjects' performances as well, but of course main attention will go to math and science.

Hi munisa!, we got the results of stage one and I passed it. Can you please make a video about the types of questions asked during the interview, I really need your help in this.
Congratulations!!! The questions and interview change every other 2-4 years but from recent years during 2nd stage they will give you a passage, probably scientific passage from TOEFL tests and you'll have to explain the passage to them and then answer to their questions. So, my suggestion is to build up your strong scientific vocabulary. Also, just in case, prepare good answers to most basic questions such as "Why KSA? / Why Korea? Why do you want to study here? What do you know about Korea, Busan, KSA"... and so on.

hii i passed the 1st math test and before the math and english interviews there was one more written math test, which contains 4 problems, i did it all but each has some small mistakes like forgot to eliminate unsatisfied case or some small calc mistakes, is that a really really bad thingss 😢😢
in the math interview when teacher asked me to correct my mistakes, i resolved all of that correctly, im kinda confident with my math test and the interview but not with my essays or honors and awards :((( ah btw is there any chance that the result might be public sooner than expected 😢😢 thank youuuu
Hey Linh, If you are confident with your results/tests, it's good not to worry about it at all, as long as you feel you solved everything correctly. I'm not fully sure, but usually they look at the answers and the techniques/ways/formulas you use to solve the problems. So, don't worry, it's already in the past and it's not good to keep negative thoughts in you, think positively only. In terms of final results, I don't think so that can be a case, they always upload on set dates. Maybe you can check on the admissions website if they've changed the dates of publications. But usually they just upload on the date stated initially or maybe later. You can just double check with admission office by emailing them. Hope this helps, and don't worry, think positively!
I would say the award will give you more chances but it's not the only factor, math exam, your interview and documents/achievements all play big role together

Of course you can apply to KAIST after KSA. People who graduate from Korean high schools are no eligible to apply for GKS Scholarship only. Other than that you can apply to any university

Hey, Almost all Korean universities ask for TOPIK certificate and only those programs that are fully taught in English, don't require it. Thus, you need to check if the major you're applying for requires you to know Korean or no. As far as I know, medicine is taught in Korean only with some small exceptions of few classes being taught in English. It's best for you to know Korean beforehand, since knowing the language will help you to live, study and survive in Korea :)

This is a high school (KSA of KAIST - Korea Science Academy of KAIST). It's different from KAIST itself. KAIST - Institute of Science and Technology where you can do your undergraduate, graduate and PhD degrees Whereas In KSA - you study from 10th grade till 12th. In terms of programs and languages in KAIST, all depends on the courses you choose. Professors do talk and teach in English but you need be aware of the fact that it's still Korea and their main language is Korean.

You can't just clear that up. It's a top science school in Korea and because of that it has questions like those and that's not only for the entrance exams, when studying there - the questions are much harder than they were in here. Think of if you study there ... will you try to clear them up always? Just wait for your results, in worst case you can apply next year and by the next year you can prepare for the exams, since now you know what type of questions are there. If you contact the school and say that the questions were hard and you have never seen such questions before, they will think you won't be able to study in that school if you can't even solve the entrance exams. So think well before contacting them
You can submit these test certificates but you will anyways have to take the exams, cause through the exam they test you if you really know the language

If you don't have a passport, national ID works as well. In terms of parents, they have to have it as well (passport or national IDs) - no other alternatives work here. And yes, it's super necessary - that's an official document that has an information about you.
