Bro... Just insane ! It's literally the best animation I've ever seen AND ON KSP !!! I really like the songs you've picked. You have a great talent and I hope the best for you.
They must have taken a very conservative approach to space flight if they built a whole station around the Mun before going interplanetary 🤔. I’m assuming that they did that because it was the only way to launch a Duna direct mission.
@@averiWonBTW that’s why it’s my favorite haha, I just thought it would be funny to have a Saturn V looking rocket headed for their first time to Duna, then boom, they already have a big setup on the moon haha
It’s also how I played ksp on my main save. I would build refuling stations and these big transport ships, I made a colony on laythe, visited every jool moon. Then I realized one day I’ve never sent kerbals to duna on that save, so I build the cheapest one way rocket possible and chucked them at duna. That’s basically what’s going on here haha
i like how the music is just what they happen to be playing on their phone. also the kerbals doing random things on the gravity ring is cool, though i think they are a bit too big (those rings would be very cramped). also kerbin mun and duna are just earth moon and mars. but overall, good animation!
Thanks haha. Good eye, the kerbins are indeed too big. There was a strange bug in blender when being parented to the rig, if they were that small moving like that they would shake uncontrollably, no idea why. Also I wish I could import ksp’s planet files but I couldn’t, and cause I’m still an amateur animator I couldn’t make them myself and have them still look good 😭
The best KSP animation I have seen so far! The amount of details and references to the game, like Jeb extremly happy and Bob & Bill afraid in the entry to Duna, were incredible! Good job, you did an outstanding work.
This was probably one of, if not the best KSP animation I have ever seen! Everything from the amazing images, to great music, to the kerbals actually speaking loñapsE, it was all incredible! Congratulations! I'm now excited to see what comes next on their trip to Duna
I'm about to cry tears of happiness. The detail put into this is unfathomfdsable, and to see that you only have under 600 subscribers is just crazy. You definitely deserve so much more because of this one amazing animation for Kerbal kind.
I've been working on a surprisingly similar animation for the last year, although I've been working on and off and building everything from the ground up. I'm very impressed by your animation skills and the rigging on everything. I don't know how you pulled it off, but very well done. You captured every nuance of kerbal nature.
Here before 500 subs! Maybe you could decrease the voxel size (by increasing the resolution) at 1:39, you can see them a bit in the background. BUT BOY THIS IS THE BEST KSP ANIMATION I HAVE EVER SEEN CONGRATS FOR YOUR ANIMATION AND JEB FOR REACHING DUNA!
HOLY SHIT dude that was up to par with the KSP 2 release video tbh. You should make a series of these! Share it on the KSP 2 chat as well, damn. That was amazing!
I loved this video! I could tell that you've either thoroughly played the game or have done a lot of research on it. Job well done for truly capturing both the essence and the allure of KSP in a single short!
Ksp is hands down my favorite game of all time. I like to think of these animations as a love letter to the hundreds of hours I’ve spend having fun in ksp :’)
Is it just me or everytime you accidently crash the ship while the people inside felt so sad cause they were so happy to see the planet and then they just die.
This is very well done. Got chills at the refueling scene for some reason, and don't even get me started on how good those parachutes looked. Great job!
Giving someone chills is probably one of the greatest accomplishments I could get, so thank you! The space station scene is probably my favorite, so glad you enjoyed :D
Good ear hahaha, took a while to get it right, we recorded it pronouncing it backwards instead of reversing it, in order to make it sound more natural, there were a lot of tongue twisters haha. I’m glad you enjoyed!
@@snaeb-ps3bd they do indeed! its also used in a lot of their old animations and stuff, like jeb's junkyard. you should check them out if you havent seen them
The comments have repeated this about 436 times, but this is honestly one of the best ksp animations. I think part of what makes it so good, is its complete authenticity. This is entirely made off of logical actual rockets you would use in game (and honestly probably were looking at them), but it just encapsulates exactly what you could and would see and do in the main game, and in doing that, perfectly captures the feeling and joy from playing the game and the missions that make ksp. Good luck pursuing animation (not that you need it, because this honestly amazed me)!
This channel is truely slept on , i really hope you didnt give up as i saw your channel hasnt uploaded anything for 1 year , i really hope that you got an animation job or something because this video is truley magnificent man ! Please dont give up your dreams !
@@mrbluntz3674 thanks! Haven’t given up! I was away from home and my computer for a while but I’m back now and working on a few projects! Some should hopefully be out “soon” :D
@@TheBestBean. honestly man the algorithm needs to pick this up ! The graphics on the ksp videos are Insaine man ! , the ripples in the parachute as they fall on the ground is just a work of art , these video must take you ages to make
Ah man someone noticed 😂 In my defense it was 2 am the night before it was due and I never noticed haha. If you feel up to a challenge, there’s four more spelling mistakes if you can spot em 😂
That was fun to watch! I really liked the landing shot at 4:41. Looking forward to watch more videos in this channel. Making this kind of animation is no easy feat. Congratulations.
Oh no stinking way, AnimatedK!!!!!!! You saw my video?! You were the one who inspired me to make these! I remember seeing your animations and thinking “wow! I didn’t realize ksp could be animated in blender, much less look that good!” Then I discovered you had a tutorial on how to import parts and it was all down hill from there. I wanna be blender buddies 😂
@@AnimatedKhey animatedK! I’m back and plan on start working on another project. I wanted to ask some questions and just chat, do you have a discord account and wanna talk animation with me? Or a email if not? Ps, I recently saw your gifs for the laythe project you’re working on, and holy crap, I was dumbfounded, looks SO GOOD
someone noticed! haha. I was a bit sad the camera shake and depth of field cut out the rest of the text wich said (I tried, i don't know how to animate text) hahaha, i don't think its possible in blender
Congratulations, the effects must have taken a long time, but you did an incredible job, Now imagine seeing all this excitement while listening Peter Schilling - Major Tom, I can make a music video combining your work with The music? 😁
This is just a masterpiece. Not many 300 subscriber channels do this amazing content. One day you will have millions of subscribers. See you in 2 years!
there are some unlogick moments but the animaton is asome! i love spase and the parasute animaton and funie how somewone made solar panels so fragile it brocke after the kerball crashed in it!
For anyone wondering, the language the Kerbals canonically speak is backwards spanish. The word order stays the same but the words themselves are reversed.
This is extremely impressive! Tho i got some tips :P *Slow starts dont work on RU-vid, you need to front load something cool for people to be interested *render in 21:9 if you want a 21:9 aspect. Atm, people with ultrawides got black bars framing the entire footage.
Thank you! And thanks for the tips! Just to clear some stuff up, it wasn’t made for RU-vid per say, it was made as a class project as well as for my future portfolio for college and stuff. That being said, having a hook is still very important And secondly I kiiinda goofed on the framing. I rendered in 1920x800 but exported in 1920x1080, for the purpose youtube making it look skinny when not full screened, and also to give the text plenty of space and force the cinimatic vibe. Didn’t work out perfectly lol. Looks plenty good full screened on a pc but just looks shrunk on a phone XD Sorry for writing such a long reply :P
@@TheBestBean. aah, that makes sense. I had a guess that it was some sort of film school thing. :P I dont think you need to do anything extra for youtube to display a wide image when not in full screen, at least on pc. Also, if you want lower compression, export in 3440x1440. RU-vid will recognize that as 4k and grant it a higher bit rate = much lower compression
I did! Thanks. And it’s probably because animations don’t do well on RU-vid, and the algorithm gods don’t bless my videos. Im happy with what I get tho
@@TheBestBean. I also noticed the ones under the starite station- "Thank you"! I love those little touches. I was HUGE into Gravity Falls so I'm extra keen to ciphers and codes like that lol Edit to add: I can't wait to see what you end up doing next. You got some really good skill!
@@turtlemun I LOVE gravity falls, and I love that you mentioned that because that’s why I used it haha. I wish more shows had hidden secrets in them like gravity falls did. Just love the idea that something that looks like random letters or numbers isn’t. I’ll make sure to include some more in the next one I’m working on!
