I'm binging your KSP series as a newly acquired subscriber to your channel. This story time has caught me off-guard. Was planning to eat my dinner whilst watching your video but you started to talk about detailed eye muscle surgery which I thought at first would turn off my appetite but actually was quite fascinating and didnt affect the meal negatively at all! Every day is a school day :D

From what I remember, when I looked left...my right eye would keep looking forward...don't remember how my eye sight was affected, just that that was the problem...I was told that they sniped some of the muscles to lose'n that eye up...lol

Enjoyed story time there Matt, I also work in an operating theatre (in neuro, not ophthalmics) as an ODP/SFA but I feel like I was bang in the middle of this particular kerbal-surgical venn diagram for this episode. I know the fear of losing a suture, but nothing so bad as those tiny 10-0 prolene sutures!

Own quarters? Shower? _Jacuzi?_ Well, yeah, that Mk3 cabin is big enough! :D I like to allocate it to 4 kerbals when I'm feeling more generous than just declaring that there's a hidden bunk room in the Mk3 cockpit. ;) Nice Duna takeoff. Orbital decompression sounds like something astronauts might experience as cabin pressure is reduced. (Whether that happens during ascent or after, I don't know.) The name reminded me of what divers get if they come up too fast, but it would be more like altitude sickness.

I once volunteered at an orphanage that had a rather... hefty... special needs individual. He was a complete sweetheart (unless you count stealing food from volunteers), which was quite fortunate. He was easily strong enough to jump the fence, which was impressive as he was also heavy enough that it took 3 or more grown adults to drag him when he was pouty. I simply cannot imagine the sheer manpower required to restrain such an individual if he were to freak out in a hospital.

Hey Val, I have good news and bad news. Good news is, you're rescued from certain death on a desolate planet! Bad news is, your pilot is going to describe horrific, nightmare-inducing eye surgeries all the way back to Kerbal! Sort of good news: with 16 seats in the expanded crew compartment, you'll have 15 extra barf bags for the trip.

You might have a fuel balance issue. In VAB try to empty all the tanks. If your centre of mass creeps behind the centre of lift, you've got a problem. The solution is to move the fuel tanks as close to the centre of the ship as possible. If that's not possible, your other option is to move your wings further back but that will make the ship harder to control and it might still have some problems at high speeds.
