Welcome to Episode 2 of "The Stranded" - a playthrough in which I unlock the entire science mode tech tree in Kerbal Space Program, but with a TWIST: on every single planet and moon, there's a stranded Kerbal that needs to be rescued! Lowne Aerospace Lunar Return Review: The owner and operator of the company was extremely rude and kept saying "GET IN OR ELSE" and would wave a newspaper at me like he was going to spank me, and he was always eating a sandwich which not only made him very difficult to understand but it was also quite rude considering he ate like 20 or 30 sandwiches in front of me while not feeding me once. He kept saying things like "SHUT UP AND KEEP WATCHING OVER THE HEDGE"' when I'd ask if he had any food for me as saliva covered crumbs ejected from his mouth and plastered the control panel. By the end of the trip I was shocked he could operate the thing because the entire instrument cluster had been glazed over by several inches of what was corned beef sandwiches and now is more of a petri dish. 🌟/⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1 out of 5 Stars JK love you Matt! This was super fun! Cheers!

My personal headcanon is: Kerbals want to explore space so much, on occasion they spontaneously warp reality around themselves. Out of a sudden a Kerbal finds himself wrapped in a spacesuit, standing in the middle of regolith field, with Kerbin being just a small blue dot in the sky. And then call for help goes out, and poor Gene Kerman gets a headache LOL

Maybe to tie this into Matt's movies these various Kerbals spontaneous warping is what created the warp stone from into the warp? Kerbals were the "advanced" race all along?

Or he’ll be on an asteroid that’s farther than eve and has to be redirected back to kerbin while the spaceship that got there has only enough delta-v to make it from eve to jool requiring multiple gravity assists.

Imagine that in the last episode the stranded kerbal disappears after landing on the last planet/moon. Then, Matt launches some Sentinel Telescopes to search for a vessel and the kerbal. He discovers the missing guy is on a planet very, VERY far away from Kerbin, so he uses his knowledge about KSP and science (lol) to launch an interplanetary ship (yeah a big ship that cost billions of monoy to find ONE kerbal) to Proxima Centauri B and... The ship finds an ancient civilization with our stranded kerbal as their God and King of Everything. Then, he discovers that the kerbal is actually Matt from another universe that came here by kraken drive (Yeah, a very op method to launch to another universe) and our reality is destroyed and corrupted, because Matt-from-another-universe was made of antimatter, so when he enters in contact with our Matt, atoms mix and create a big big bomb that destroys everything. Sorry if my English is not very well (I don't like to use google translate).

The more I look at the Stranded title screen, the cooler I think it is. I get the impression it took quite a lot of setting up, unless, of course, it was drawn which is a whole other skill set.

What I want to see a video on is how in the world do you look at the screen (not the navball) and have the foggiest clue which way your rocket is going to turn when you press 'a'.

Tbh you kinda dont. I usually use the nav ball if I need to aim the rocket itself, because otherwise you would have to keep track of which side of the rocket is Front. Also you can use the game itself to "set" the rocket towards prograde or retrograde or another point if you want and it will turn itself in that direction and hold it there. this is with the SRS and RTS tools.

Even though this isn’t relevant: I think there should be multiplayer, and I think I know how. So with time warp it won’t affect you but only the player, for example if they time warp all you see is just then speeding by, and if your in there area you get “connected” to there time warp and you travel along with them

I wonder if lunar orbit rendezvous really is so much more efficient. Seems like you have to build a whole new cabin, life support, engine, fuel system, comms, docking mechanisms all so that you don’t have to carry a heat shield and parachutes down to the surface. I dunno, I think that margin may be a good bit more marginal than history would have us think. Another big part of why nasa was uncomfortable with direct ascent was that NASA was uncomfortable with the idea of landing big rockets…well spacex has kinda blown that fear straight out of the water now hasn’t it?

completely unrelated to the video, we have some very different play styles, you're incredibly efficient meanwhile i do the superior brute force play style, which is build a monstrous rocket to get to the mun and back in a direct ascent mission
