Advice for people who want to make moving wings with hinges: Set the hinge damping to max, and autostrut all wing pieces as close to the root part as possible. Set 'engage servo lock' and 'disengage servo lock' to separate action groups. Once the wings are in position, spam the engage lock action group for a solid 5-10 seconds. When you want to move the wings again, press the disengage lock action group, move the wing, and spam the lock again. If you don't follow these steps, your wings won't move as well, and go out of position very easily.

Flight manager for reusable stages, FMRS for short. Perfect for things like a falcon9, or air launch systems. Recovering stuff saves a lot of credits in career mode, especially when using very expensive big first stages.

There is/was mod called Stage Recovery that let you recover dropped stages or carrier aircraft. It worked by creating a time flag at the point where the craft separated. You could then go back and fly the other ship, and when that flight was resovled, it reintegrated the timelines again.

The mod is called FMRS: flight manager for reusable stages. It combines the save where you put your second stage to orbit with the other save where the carrier(or i.e. falcon 9 first stage ) lands. You basically fly twice and lose nothing. And it handles the saving and combining

Stage Recovery is a great mod for realistic recovery. If it is manned or probe controlled, and has sufficient fuel, it will "land" itself back at KSC or perform a powered landing in the case of a rocket.

You could use kOS to get the carrier home

You can save the lower section as long as the upper section remains above 20 or 25 kilometers altitude while you land it. I do this to land every stage of my missions.

[ 15:39 ] On the runway, you should aim for the big rectangular markers just after the runway threshold, that marking is literally called ‘the touchdown zone’ and if you miss it by as much as you did, you would have to go-around.

FMRS is the mod for recovering lower stages like that. Lets you play both halves and then combines the saves. There's also StageRecovery but with that you don't play the landing, just spam parachutes and it will refund some of the cost.

Now this is podracing. Edit: In a future video, you should do a pod racer space plane or something. Or whatever kind of mission you think would be the best fit for a pod racer style design.

KSP 2 will have a system for piloting two craft at once. It'll be called having friends ;)

It would cool if you could program vessels to land. For example if you want to save a booster you do a simulation launch where you recover the booster manually, and then on the actual launch , it will copy the simulation. Maybe ksp 2

Every time I see a video of you building a airplane, I get soooo jealous..... I am pretty good doing rockets, but when I need planes, I suck building them. I only play KSP full career mode with lots of "realistic" mods, planes are essential in my career. :( Note (video idea): What about some good tutorials in how to build a decent plane?

what you should have done was make the launch pylons below the plane, so the carrier craft would only need to pitch downward to clear it and re-enter the atmosphere. the goal was to launch the craft upward, so the carrying pylons should have been below the mission vehicle.

1:02 the atmosphere doesnt ends, there is a few more layers of it such as the thermosphere and the exosphere, and why does space begins at 100 km? No idea, ask astronomers

When I first watched your videos, it convinced me to get ksp on Xbox. I couldn't even get to gilly. So I took a break from ksp for a year and came back. And after watching your videos, I wanted to challenge myself. So I did something that would be sorta difficult for my experience: a Jool 5!

I think you forgot to note that KSP is a game and is made easier than real life and the end of Kerbin's atmosphere is about 70,000m based on my experience of the game, while the end of Earth's atmosphere is 100,000m thus making it 190.50% harder to reach orbit in real life, factoring in the costs.
