It's wild to watch him in MMA, he was the guy to beat in strong man competitions 20 years ago. Just a specimen of an athlete and outstanding competitor.
@@a-a-rondavis9438 mark Felix didn't really start his career and smash all sorts of records until he was in his fortys.still smashing the weights at 57
I know he lost the fight after this one, but he really has come a long way from a strongman and how late he got into MMA. He is definitely pretty skilled at this point. Can't win them all though.
3:05 ''No one saw that coming'' really?? you think NOBODY would have think that one of the world strongest man could knockout his opponent?? this is exactly why i clic on this video, to see the poor guy getting K.O. by Pudzianowski
@@ryaniam22 Perhaps that's not why I mentioned his size? I meant that it's hard to imagine that he used to be even bigger in the past, considering how huge he stil is.
@@pyrosupreme4473"musclebound" is a literal nonsense word. it implies that muscle in any way hinders speed or mobility when it is literally all that generates it. Pudzianowski was always best at dynamic events in strongman; he was fast carrying or pulling whatever weight he had to. Speed agrees with him more than static strength (of course he can surely deadlift more than any other fighter... but not so much for a Worlds Strongest Man, much less for someone who won WSM many times.)
2:53 I sometimes wonder what they would do if the ref didn't intervene.. like just proceed beat an unconscious man to death? You can immediately tell he's knocked out.
In mma you're instructed to continue fighting until the ref stops the fight, but I know what you mean, heavyweights should hold back atfer those one hit dingers. Mark Hunt for example always hits you just once and then walks off as you fall to the ground. He never follows it up with a ground hit because he knows its possible brain damage to the prone opponent just laying there. The refs need to be quicker and get in there. No need for a second hit here from Pudz but ref was too slow.
Well, Materla lost this fight becouse he underestimated Pudzianowski, Pudzian is not freak fighter any more. Pudzianowski won this fight, because he wre brave enough put a risk to keep fighting in standing position. And he is still, very strong person.
ale skubaniec Pudzian jak on się rozwinął! Jak teraz potrafi gospodarować energią i tlenem to i z mistrzem daje radę. Może Materla miał słabszą dyspozycję, nie wiem - ale szacunek!
Widać przewagę masy i siły. Materla nie robi uników w tej walce. Nie rozumiem tego. Rozumiem, że chce zmęczyć Pudziana. Ale on nie potrzebnie przyjmuje tutaj wszystko.
