@@Osobipolar69 we exist in our scumbaggery just fine up in Philly idk what your talking about lol. Floridas a state full of people not from it just like LA
Part of the problem is the fucking echo, which they should have fixed and shouldn't allow in the future... Kill Tony isn't the same in giant amphitheaters with huge crowds, it's supposed to be a quasi-intimate conversational setting to make it work. This one really did sound more like a UFC event and wasn't conducive to comedy.
@@Majeed. Even if that were true which it isn’t, you can still interpret the message non literally as people in LA are corporate shills with no care for morality only money.
Nonsense. He and Rogen turned Austin into a lamer scene than L.A. comedy now. It's about crowd size, not location. All arena audiences suck. The HEB Forum crowd was worse than this.
Seriously, I think I've watched/listened to over 350 episodes and this crowd was by far the worst. They had the boos locked and loaded for absolutely anything and everything
@@FungusMossGnosis What a shit take lol. Location most definitely has to do with crowd reception, regardless of crowd size. 95% of People who live in or East of Texas aren't traveling to LA to watch KT live lmao. Everyone booed almost everything in this specific show. The HEB Arena crowds were far better objectively. Edit: note when he asked how many people are fans of KT, barely anyone cheered. Nobody has a clue what they are there to watch
I dunno… sadly lots of the city dwellers move to screw up a better state, after they destroyed theirs. Should wall up LA, SF and NYC. (Haha, they did make escape from LA and New York)
Why is Tony so disconnected? He should understand that Netflix is extremely liberal and hated pretty widely. I mean they made fucking cuties for god sake.
Noo! They just need to do a Comedy Store reunion show…the arena/huge theater setting just doesn’t seem to work with the show. I know most LA people suck but there are plenty of diehard comedy fans like myself here!
I can’t be the only one that’s simultaneously proud of KT selling out arenas now, but also realizing while watching the arena shows that the format of this show works so much better in a small venue like the mothership lol
Completely disagree. I think it works both ways each has their place (ie special shows, etc.) Unfortunately they did this one in LA and the crowd ruined a bunch of stuff. Mainly, I think, a lot of it went over their head.
Dr Phil can roast people 10x better then David without even trying. Yet DL literally thinks he’s some comedy genius for calling someone gay, fat or the n word
@@jalexander9698 at least David Lucas doesn’t hog all of the mic time as Dr. Phil did on this episode plus the last episode he was on kill Tony. He was selfish with not sharing the mic time with the others at the table.
the heb arena wasn’t great either, definitely both the fact that it’s an arena and california. we need boo patrol or something make them stop booing at nothing
Most of you dont know they let it be known that they werent allowed to make fun of trans people this show because netflix n youtube sponsors. End of comedy
@@ohnaviityWow seeing tony say that he thinks that shane and mat are the reason we thought ric won is INSANE. Like wtf? No. We arent stupid. Hans is ignorant, spoiled from tony and NOT FUNNY.
KT is NOT an arena act. This makes no sense. They do these awkward first time 1 minute of stand up from a literally nobody and then proceed to interview the person that most likely bombed for up to 10 minutes. Yea....let's put that in a 20k seat arena and not bore the fuck out of people. They sell out arena because the tickets are about as much as a round of mediocre golf.
The comments have gone nuts shitting on the crowd and LA but they did boo Netflix and cheer keeping it here, so they weren't half bad, imo. For an arena crowd (always the worst).

@@Budisgud69 dude they were booing during the interview when people were simply answering Tony's questions about their personal life. All these people would of been kicked out if they behaved like at the mothership.
@@Budisgud69 Yeah to be fair the standard of the audience is that if they're not giggling whithing the first 4 seconds then they're booing. There were a lot of people who got boo'd who didn't bomb they just didn't kill.

@dontworryboutit3026 Bakersfield would be 10x better if it was in oildale. A bunch of roughnecks would love this cus it's the same type of things they'd say on the rigs. Just a bunch of roasting and mocking with comedy and no hard feelings
@@rapperdudesofficial If yall were doing it as a joke, then you LA crowd guys have officially confirmed that youre the most unfunny and annoying crowd in the history of the show..
@@shiquandequan6819 haha didn’t think y’all would be so pressed about booing it’s nothing serious. Everyone was having a great time and no one was offended
Bro they bullied that John Luna guy. That wasn’t a roast that was straight bullying a guy in front of a huge crowd. First time I felt bad for someone on this show.
@@bingbongwingwong yeah I understand that. I’ve watched Tony roast a lot of people and it always comes off as funny and playful. But this one was different, it just come off in a negative way that didn’t feel like the usual roast. It came off as disrespectful. But that’s just my observation, I can’t read Tony’s mind and know if he was being serious or not. I could be totally wrong though. Comedy is subjective.
I thought the dude had a great set but yeah to be fair can you imagine some dude shedding elbow flakes & blood a couple feet away from you on a stage a bunch of other people have to use?
I was there in person. The booing wasnt the whole show. Its once the beers settled in that the crowd started having beer balls and it all came from the same section, the furthest seats too@noblacksplz
You guys don't realize he was bleeding because he did that hacky fake fall, which could literally get the show in trouble legally I'm sure if someone actually fell it would be different.
@@SAGE_ASENTHIAN or KC Rocket "OMG he's done it again" the same routine he does every night that barely gets laughs until his set gets so awkward the crowd has to laugh. ugh.
I was there. Crowd was very drunk. Ppl kept booing Netflix to mess w/Tony but booing the comics during their set was rude and annoying. Casey Rocket killed it. I became a fan after seeing him live. I still had the time of my life. I was just happy to be able to be at an actual show after watching on RU-vid for so long. 👍 Energy was insane when Dr. Phil came out.
Casey Rocket is providing an original form of comedy which is why he got recognized by Tony. I'm always happy to see new audiences enjoying his style. And ya... the members of the crowd booing was a complete negative to the show. Booing at just anything. Being an arena show, Tony couldn't go all in on the "boo'ers" like he can at the Mothership, cause that would just derail the show. A weird venue for Tony to pick. Overall a good show... but those booer's... just lame.
@@LeaveMeAroneNothing kills humor more than woke comics and woke crowds. They go to clap for morons making a statement, not laugh at comedians making jokes.
Post didnt do it to undermine Tony, he did it because the dude wanted to shake Post's hand and Post is a really nice dude and felt obligated. But yeah, I thought it was gold too lol
@@tuukka1827 The youtube shows are edited too, and they have adverts instead of a paywall. Besides, everything on Netflix is available for free if you know where to look.
i think the crowd was getting recognition from booing so they thought it was funny to keep doing it. Like a kid spamming the same funny thing they did 1 time.
These don't translate well to huge venues, everyone just feels too uncomfortable and it shows. Tony and panel included. Dr Phil is immune to pressure, guy could perform in a phone booth.
