😍 this was the first song I ever taught myself on the guitar! And I always thought the looping would be unachievable for me yet I always adored it because it's so uncredibly musical, rhythmic and bold! How is she so good?!! And now I just happen to stumble across this tutorial from her personally on youtube! She is the reason I wanted to one day learn how to use a looping pedal in the first place! I feel a bit more hopeful now in maybe managing to pull this off myself one day (hopefully rather soon) and it's definetely motivation to go out and buy one for myself and start practicing! 😃 Cheers to you KT!
There's a few more of KT's song tutorials on 'Now Play It.com', along with lots more by other artists. You have to pay to download them, not all are demonstrated by the original artists, but it's still an excellent site.
She mentions it near the beginning, it's an Akai ' Headrush E2', this video is a few years old and there are now many more other makes and models of loop stations out there now that are much more sophisticated. Depends on your budget and what features you want.
haha GIBSON guitar hospital! I'd say! And anyways, she has like 10 thousand guitars, is she really going to miss one of them? Just jocking! I totally love her, she is so great live!
@inuyashamog watch the tutorial it answers your questions all. Just watch ! don't shout because its rude and while you maybe don't care about the foot pedal when you realize that the song is basically two chords you will also understand why the PEDAL is so important.
Does anybody know what kind of loop pedal she is using? She said something about a something something head rush but she may have been talking about the splitter, with her heavy Scottish accent, I couldn't quite make it out.
ok...help to do what she does with black horse what equipment do i need?! obviously that wee loop pedal (akai headrush 2) but is that it...?! anyone? Ta!
