How are you liking the low-compression head? I am in between the low and mid, cannot decide. I ride Eastern Canadian Rockies, so similar elevation to you...

I am still running the Low Compression insert, and haven't felt the need to switch to the medium (which I have in the box). The topend is still ridiculous (hang on for dear life power when on pipe) mod range is fantastic and low end, which is where 60% of my riding is on is best with the low comp Insert. Bike is tough to stall. Maybe one day I'll try the mid when I'm much fitter, and hitting only faster easy trails. - I actually rode today in the snow now at 274.5hrs

How was the cylinder after 239 hours? Why wait so long for the top end rebuild on this unit? Thanks

Make sure to watch th4 full series to best answer your question. The cylinder was great and so was the piston & rings. KTM mechanic Aubrey said could have gone another 50 hrs no problem on OEM piston. I waited so long because the bike had no power loss at 239 hrs and I was busy riding, not wanting to do thr top end.

Yes still going at 250 hrs. Most importantly is don't let any dirt get in oil fill neck and same with fuel tank. Original intank fuel filter.

@@irnieracing thx i will do only piston swap at 240hrs the piston now has 130hrs but i ride it pretty hard on the throotle so...... thank you
