Many old bikes have em on the left and basically all italian bikes (Aprillia MX). KTM LC4s and EGS for example have them on the left, no Idea why though

I've started and ridden a 550 the power is obscene !! The guy that I knew that owned the bike had just upgraded the pipe and jetted it and crashed that same day . He decided to go back to the stock pipe and jetting .
Its easier to start if you lean bike over to the left until fuel comes out the overflow than find TDC and give it a kick! It will come to life on the first kick without the risk of breaking your ankle!
@NoNoNoNii youre a fucking idiot for thinking a bike cant go over 100 because its a "dirtbike". Beta 450rs will go over 100. Atk intimidator goes 110. Husqvarna fe501 s will (510cc engine). Aprilia rxv 550 will. These all will and are all dirtbikes. If that ktm will idk but all of the others mentioned do.
Don't open the throttle if your using choke, it defeits the purpose of using the choke because your opening the throttle allowing to much air in to start a cold engine. Nice bike, I've had a few 500 two strokes.
No throttle when you kick, adjust idle so it fires up without any. Throttle starts are for 4-jokes :) 2strokes never like to start if you hear a BLAP BLAP BLAP when you twist and kick..
The engine won't have enough suction through the idle circuit when too much air is flowing through the slide. Little throttle might help sometimes but a fast twist is a luck game :)
You can tell the real riders who start them with the left foot like they are designed to be. The fakers stand next to the bike and use their right foot.
ghost500e My right hand & foot are stronger than my left for sure. Weather it’s Foot ball, soccer, everything...And most people are the same way. It makes lots of sense why they don’t have the kick on the left side anymore.
I want my 500 back regret ever letting it go can't replace now silly me all other bikes are just boring compared to a good 500 you never get tired of the power.

Conner Keys it ain't no damn 4 stroke man to get the oil to operating temperature it has oil in the gas man and if you leave it at idle it's gonna fill your cylinder head and your power valve with oil and you will probably need a new spark plug!! #2Strokes4life
