That does look great Chops, good job. If you are worried about scratching any of those bling axle bolts etc, maybe have a thin polishing cloth at hand to put over them to protect them from getting scratched by the socket.

Lol the irony of RU-vid running an advert exactly as you were complaining about em. Great wheels, not sure about the wavy disks but I suppose it is more fitting on something like a SM, and especially a tricked out one like this. So erm when's the giveaway? j/k ;)

Howdy Love what you do I wished I would of done the same two years ago I broke my back and have Osteomyelitis in my bones can’t get the infection to go away besides that I have done more than 35 bikes 250 f’s 450f”s Honda Yamaha Kawasaki’sfrom 2002 to2019 my last 450 I shaved 35 lbs 15.9 kilos off and making 68 hp I did bikes for factory Honda Moto triple X Carmichael starting with Kyle Lewis many of the factory riders most recent writer Ken Roczen just to name a few but haven’t done anything since my broken back and disease watching your videos and gave me the biggest itch I am ordering a 2023 KTM 690 or whatever it is we don’t know exactly yet but I’m going to use everything you have been doing my titanium bolt maker makes my internal studs for the motor and head I would hand blend the cases to a mirror finish and then steel wool them I also use an XR 650 front wheel it is a quarter inch wider even though it says it’s the same wheel now since you using aftermarket I would go to the carbon fiber wheel which is half the weight of the normal wheels I hand blend the frames of Any excessive welds nothing structural as I am an aerospace manufacturer I know what I’m doing I can have them penetrant inspected to show all of the flaws in fracture points prior to Brewsters after there are zero it is how extensive I get with my builds just like you I love your work hopefully I can give you a few more ideas at what you can do to be a little more crazy thank you and I appreciate everything you do me more than anybody can appreciate it

You can get the smaller discs so in effect you have same performance but less rotational mass.

Surprised the front brake didn't have 4 separate pads in 2019/20. My 2015 did and the brake had the best "feel" of any motorcycle brake I have ever used.

Really enjoyed watching this build. In fact that’s what got me to swap my GS to a 701. It’s all your fault! I got the Enduro, but now want to put SM wheels on. Drat! So I’ve got some SM Pro’s on order. I’m now having to mull over if to go with the Moto Master Front calliper upgrade too. Ohhhh nearly forgot. Do you remember what size rear sprocket you’re running and if you changed the front sprocket Thanks in advance Richard .

Not really a fan of sealing the spokes with sealer. Slow leak waiting to happen. Tubes are fine, and prob weigh less than aforementioned sealer. The brightside: New OEM discs would show even bigger weight savings lol ;o) Thinking about it, I don't fancy that sealer de-laminating. That slow leak could escalate to a quick leak rather rapidly. Tubes or cast for me... or... caaaaarrrbon. mmmmmm. That is the stuff sm-dreams are made of tbh

Great vid, looking very nice niccccce, better get a good light lock for it because some knob will want to take it off your hands, Will you do a total costing for all the mods I know sponsors have helped you out but if you had paid for everything . It will help guys out there thinking of wanting to do projects like this of ballpark figures. I know with these projects they just keep adding to the credit cards and never really finished alway able to add something else. Keep it up Chopsie nothing boring about the guy from the south.
