They started testing prototypes at the same time as they started testing the new Dukes about 2 years ago so they should be quite close to finished. According to 1 news site it'll be released within the next 3 months however no official statements to verify if it's true or not

It may have to do with aerodynamics. With the lack of fairings and seating position may be the reason. It is a Ptwin motor so top end isn't really there. I got to 120mph with my 990 no problem. I did however feel like my neck was going to snap back.
Of course, more power, more NM and less weight, a real Rocket, i have the 890 R and i win to the Z900 disappeared in my rearview mirror :) so yeah the 990 can win to the Z900
you're just too ignorant. it looks cool and ktm knows that people will get used to it. Just grow up and accept it or keep crying about it while everyone else has fun with the SD.

Had to sell my 890R due to Quickshifter reliability at the track. Too dangerous.... Hopefully they have been working on it but seems to be a common KTM thing 🤦♂️
Hi,.what issues did you face? I'm day tracking my 890 R very often, and I never had issues making it dangerous. I'm very careful with the chain tension which affects a lot the quickshifter

Besides labor cost , I assume many of the parts are probably already made in China , so that will cut shipping costs , KTM , nice bikes , top dollar , but not Honda Reliability , I bought a Victory , because it was mostly produced in the U.S.A. Buy Local
