I dont think so, the Duke in the video has one or more teeth or the sprocket because normally the limitator in 1st gear is at 32/33kmh but in the video it goes up to 40ish kmh
my Yamaha X1-R which was only 110cc with 4 gears could do 85kph in 2nd gear, 130kph in 3rd, and 145kph in 4th. And it could do 0-100kph in about 8 seconds or less.
@@N3mo2102 no thats legit and with stock sprocket ratios. they can do up to 160kph and are commonly raced in many countries at tracks. Mine had a racing titanium exhaust that added more power, but all that helped was acceleration not speed
Makes no sense its 110cc, unless you removed half of the motorcycle weight, don't forget the duke is 20kg more heavy than the competitors.@@enochthewitness-2023
@@humik588 i had the Yamaha X1-R Supreme, which only had 4 gears. They can do 90 to 100mph and are frequently track raced in Asia. I had a titanium racing exhaust and different sprockets than stock. I went for a 100 mile ride with a group of Harleys once and my bike could pull uphill with my wife on the back in 4th gear a steady 50mph at lower rpm, power and torque just holds uphill. nice old bike. wouldnt buy one again though.
Is a 125, it doesnt have power and you can clearly see it. It lost acceleration because the owner changed the rear sprocket to one with more teeth. I own a Duke 125 and it goes at 33kmh in first gear but in the video the 1st gear goes up to 40ish kmh
A 390 wouldn't struggle like that to reach 100km/h its a Duke 125 european Here every duke, even the 125 have the tft dashboard Its just the indian market that has the old dash
