I have the BS4 model and the all the points you have mentioned is true. Initially I wanted to buy the Duke too because its a tried and tested bike and the Gixxer was just launched at that time but I kept faith on Suzuki and turns out I haven't been left disappointed. Maintenance is cheap. The Duke is fun to ride no doubt about it, more torque in lower rev bands but the Gixxer seems more practical and has quite an useable torque as well. The SOHC engine gives better mileage than the Duke's DOHC engine which is great for top end. 0-60kmph is almost similar for both bikes. I get around 38-40kmpl on highways mostly. The only grudge I held against Suzuki is they should have given a bigger windshield and perhaps slipper clutch, the gearbox is a little bit on the harder side. My brother's MT15 has a better gear box if I am honest.

@@Moi_Axomia_Lora true bro, for windshield I would say it could be changed, the bike's design is based on Suzuki Katana from international market i.e. low fairing and relatively small screen, however the slipper clutch is a big miss on this bike, the only feature which would have been so handy.

Lol its speedometer is broken, 150plus hahaha but cant the ktm was only doing 140plus and gixxer cant catch up.

@@hungryduker6864kid u had shown ur level of understanding. Technology and price matters when comparing two products. Duke is almost 75k higher than Gixxer. Still Gixxer is not far behind in terms of performance and long term usage. KTM bikes are max tuned and not good for long term. Japanese bikes are easy to maintain and their engines are smooth and refined for better millage.

Fullgass channel is the worst, pilots dont match skill level, when gixxer goes 155km/h Duke goes 145km/h and Duke can go up to 150+ in straight road, mine goes up to 156km/h in straight road at 30 meters above sea level.
