@dangerouspowerG3sper the exhaust is a one of a kind. special made in holland by dpr exhaust. a stock exhaust will not fit for a quad.

that bike sounds the best. sounds better than a deep 500 2 stroke

thanks in the past if ridden dirtbikes so i'm used to have a twist trottle on my bike thats why i have one.

@wbc7705 i have made brackets that bolt on the originale frame mounts. no cutting en welding. i can stil place the 4 stroke engine in it if i want to but i love the 2 stroke sound en ride so thats not going to happen.

@BRAK54 i have ridden dirtbikes for 20 years so i am used to have a twist trottle on my bike thats why i have one.

@petexx5 damn...i'm glad you can read what they come with..but know nothing about engines..you can see and hear that its got a 2 stroke motor...nice build martijn!

well it will not be really slower than the 4 stroke configuration. its just different and i like the 2 stroke engine design. not to many moving parts. its easy to work on and the 4 stroke cost to much to rebuild. a zabel 700 will vibrate really hard. the stress on the frame/engine mounts will be big but it will be scary fast!

@Kinkryder8 yes it is a mx engine from a dirtbike and a stock chassis.

@wAy2fStYFZ yes its custom built by me and my dad. i'm now going to race the second year on it with verry low maintenance cost.

is it the chassis of ktm's four stroke race quad, but just with a motocross bike engine in it? its sweet as hell! long live 2 strokes!

the vibrating is not that bad with the 380cc engine. the stroke of the crank from the 380 ktm is not that big compair to a honda cr 500. the longer the stroke the harder the vibrating. just make some rigid mounts and it wil be good.

@TheMrRedonkulous the exhaust and silencer cost me 200 euros new so thats not much. hondas 250r and suzuki quadracers are rare in holland.

@jkorn1000 none. i have taken the 380cc sx engine from a dirtbike and fit it in. the engine is stock

@trac0808 i think a cr 250 would be a bit to big for a blaster maybe anything between 85-125 would be great

@petexx5 Their is sound differrence between a 4stroke and a 2 stroke and I can assure you this is definitily a 2 stroke :P

Hey bud, sweet quad. What did you do to counterbalance the vibrating? I was told any dirt bike motor bolting onto a quad chassis will cause some seriois vibration.

how is the vibration with that motor not having a counter balance? I have a ktm 380 and i would love that motor in a quad for the dunes. very sweet, nice job!

the only thing id do to that quad is put a wider back axle then everythings perfect

Do you have the Engine Mounts fabricated ? I think you could sell them if you do. I would totally buy a KTM Quad and find a 380 somewhere and do this. However if you have that thing mounted solid and straight you should package your mounts and offer them for sale. Are you deRailing your chain at all (chain coming off at all) ? Is the airbox, carb, pretty water tight if you rode in a bit of water ? I really want to race the GNCC series here in America with one of these !!!
