Fremont is the best city in the East Bay . If you have a family and want to live in the east bay, go with Fremont. It is the safest, cleanest and the city with the best schools out of the whole east bay. No other east bay city can compare to Fremont. Fremont is the Beverly Hills of the East Bay.
I actually gave Kristi a taxi ride from Bart to, I think, her uncle and aunt's house. I didn't know it until afterwards. She had really nice legs and was very polite.

The last Yahi, Ishi was jailed in Oroville,CA then brought to Berkeley College for study. Ishi's family was slaughtered by white man who put bounties on every family members head. They thrived in the Deer Creek Canyon all the way up to the glacier of Lassen Peak.

I lived in Fremont from 1971 to 2018....(AHS grad and Ohlone College AA degree) The terrible mismanagement of development and poor civic planning finally caused me to make the decision to leave. Best town to raise a family?....UH OK! Please move there! My town has school ratings in the top tiers of my state (no not some backwater state) There are no police officers delegated to our school campuses to keep the peace in High Schools. The kids are far better equipped to succeed in life with the school curriculum taught in my town. There don't appear to be "Helicopter Parents" frantically navigating streets and crowding neighborhoods to pick up their children in school....Kids freely walk to and from school because its a far better/safer place to be than the SF Bay Area. Enjoy your "Utopia" my contributing tax paying self...I'm in a MUCH HAPPIER PLACE now.
@MrEverything In my new town I see the local Elementary School kids walking home having fun. There aren't too many "Helicopter Parents" around....a few....I think they are all Ex-Californio's like me. It's nice to see that people feel safe around where I live. Home Depot is about a 40 minute drive away...on more than one occasion I have gone there then went to see a movie...arrived back home hours later pitch black night to find my garage door wide open, full of tools, Dirt Bikes and bicycles...even the garage door to my house is unlocked...not a single thing gone! I'll take my snowy winters over the "Utopia" of Kommiefornia!
@MrEverything What city is more family friendly than Fremont in the Bay Area, Oakland? Yes, there are cities that are better than Fremont, I.E. Palo Alto, Los Altos, Redwood City, Campbell, Mountain View and San Mateo, but these cities are 2-3 times more expensive than Fremont.
