Such a beautiful and spacious airport in KL Malaysia! They are building the KLIA 2 now..! The KLIA airport will put Sydney Airport to shame! Anyone been to Sydney airport before? The Sydney airport building is so lack of space, and so so only.
I'm going to KL to KK in December and I am SO EXITED. This airport is really confusing for first timers and people who have lay-overs here but for people that go here like several times a year we know where every shop is and where every gate is and also know where the least busy toilets are PS: If you really need to go to the toilet because there's a long line to the toilet that's near your gate. Go to the one that's kind of far from you gate and remember to go to the toilets are near empty gates (This trick can be used for all airports)
Pretty sure I stopped here when I travelled to Australia a couple of years ago :) Even though I was only there for an hour and a bit AND I felt extremely motion sick from the previous flight, I still remember this airport for it's really classy look :) It actually lives rent free in my brain, that's how good of a first impression it made, haha 😁
I think KL airport is very clean and easy to navigate. Food there is good and affordable and the Malaysian staff are friendly and helpful. However, I travel a lot and have been to many airports in the world, and KL for long stop overs would have to be one of the most boring airports in the world imo...a smokers and chocoholics paradise for duty free....

I stopped off at Kuala Lumpur airport in the middle of June 2015 as a connector flight to get to England and it was the worst 6-8 hours of my life. It was humid like crazy, all the shops were closed and the plane got delayed a couple of hours. The wait was from 8pm to 2am in my body clock. When we got food we got something from Burgerking and the roll I got was very weird as it looked like it was made at home and not at a fast food place (not in a good way). The rainforest was cool and all but gets very boring after going their three times. It probably isn't all like this but i just wanted to share my experience.

Hey! i just need a help also. i do transit to Malaysia for 3h on Terminal M. Is it "Means" Main terminal and C21-C27 my gate to next flight. Do i have to use a tunnel train for it?
Gate A-B : Domestic in Main Terminal Building Gate G-H : International gate but remain in MTB no need to use aerotrain Gate C : International gates requires you to use aerotrain to the satelitte terminal. Hope this help you.
no, KLIA 2 is the new low cost airport..but in klia we have another terminal which is separated with main building of KLIA..that's why klia looks quiet.. owh btw, welcome to malaysia
