You should go to the Natonal Mosque main entrance. Tourist are allowed to enter the mosque. The management will loan a robe to cover body and there is a room of information section for tourist in the mosqu3 building. Sometimes there are free guided tour of the mosque by mosque volunteer.
most of the restaurants there have just opened as you can see. normal thing. most of the chairs and tables are still outside. if you come in the afternoon or at night, you will understand.
Well I understood that when getting there. This is why I said I eat at weird times. I went back in the evening and it was packed. Only didn't bring my camera...
It's illegal to collect , sell bat guano in Malaysia , the police will track you down. With Forestry Department. The British colonist have studied this and made it illegal since their time , then Malaya. Because it collapses the bat colony and they don't return. Our jungles have lost a lot of it's diversity due to lost of vectors( fauna). In the 70's you'ld see the mass migration of flying foxes. And the Raja Brooke. Welcome to Malaysia !
It's of course far more than that and I didn't say it's only that. I said it is a perfect spot if you wanna have a layover. Don't mean to be insulting, you could have of course weeks there and not seen everything, like with all cities that size.
