In this video, you would learn about the Blue Green deployment strategy with Kubernetes. It is a deployment strategy where two identical deployment environments exist. One with live traffic and another one with the next version of the application. Only one version of the application serves the live traffic at any point in time. The next version of the application is deployed to a Green environment and tested. If the tests are successful, traffic is routed to the Green environment. The Blue environment exists as a backup and if there is any problem with the new release we can easily switch back to the old Blue environment.
