I tried to perform self checkin 30 min before my test and the psi system kept crashing I was not able to perform self checkin n the exam time started post that I was not allowed to enter the test Such a pathetic environment I have taken screenshots n have mailed psi team
New exam environment is not great and so many folks reporting lot of times it stopped. Looks like they didn’t test enough. Browsing documents takes time without book marks!
New Remote Desktop is a disaster. It was that slow that you can barely switch from Browser to Terminal. Everyone upgrades to make things better, PSI decided to make our exam experience a disaster. I wish Pearson Vue Supported CNCF.
Hi I studied and nearly aced all mock exams for CKAD yet flunked by 4 marks on the first try in the new environment. There is such a nagging lag in the environment. you have to backspace by hitting the button unlimited times until you get till you want the cursor to be. otherwise the cursor lags if you press and hold backspace. the font and windows are so big you need to drag (and there is a huge lag there) the entire window to see the bottom of the application like browser/terminal. there is no shortcut/task-tab on the side to return to the already opened terminal in the background or if there is I had no idea how to as it was not explained you cannot switch between apps with shortcuts. the ctrl tab that is so highly used and loved was not working for me. the font was so big (i did not know at the time that they had an option to reduce it in their PSI portal wish the proctor had pointed that out but all he said was please talk to the technical staff and that was a NO NO for me as time was running out) One other major setback for me was that I referred to the kubernetes docs extensively, used ctrl + F to find in page and copy paste onto terminal .. all went smooth during mock exams .. but do find an alternative to that cz it will not go well in the exam to say the least I HATED IT AND WONT WISH SuCH AN EXPERIENCE ON MY WORST ENEMY !!
I had the same trouble while passing the exam it wasn't easy at all copying ans paste ( i know its ctrl shift +c/v on the terminal) but kt wasn't easy its a shame that i didn't pass do to that i even start writing the names on my own it was like hell to me ....
I am here after passing CKA exam worst experience with psi browser and new remote desktop environment copy paste not working via shortcut i am using right click to paste every code etc.. and very slow..
In my first attempt I got only 70 minutes of the exam where I scored 62 - failed Because of the browser issue In the second attempt after solving one 4 marks question, my laptop went to Airplane mode. The browser is totally corrupted.
I took CKS exam today it is such a pain to navigate K8s documentation. Also you're not allow to use multiple monitor. I was stuck with small screen. Hope LE and PSI go back to previous setting

in old MacBook laptops, one would connect the laptop's battery charger to the power supply then lower the display as if shut. The external monitor automatically becomes the main display.
From the video, it says if I close my mac laptop, I can use the external monitor. But the tech people that I called in PSI said they are not sure, better not. Can someone who used this in the real exam tell me whether I can use it or not? Thanks.
For those who are going to attempt CKA: I tried CKA 3 times in new portal. Every time I got TUNNEL ERROR ( VM not loading ). Machines used Ubuntu, windows 11. I shared my machine with PSI support person. still unable to fix. Now planning 4th attempt in Mac OS
@@remya3354 Yes. They will support you. If you are using small screen laptop[ like 14/13 inch ] , then please check the screen scaling option in VM. You will get that option on top right side of VM.
i took the CKA exam yesterday, clicking on the whiteboard/notepad opened whiteboard, I did not see notepad; this caused delays because i ended up typing commands. TIA, if anyone can guide on how to open the notepad in PSI remote desktop.
It seems like Linux Fundation and PSI are colluded to make candidates to fail by making extremely difficult to do the more simple tasks like navigating through a documentation page, switching windows and tabs and copying and pasting text.... this should be prosecuted
This new platform really sucks, it is suuuuuper slooooow!!! The first time the exam got loaded, it was almost 40 minutes after I initiated the check in process, and it crashed few seconds after it got enabled. so I had to re launch the PSI secure browser and do the id , room , desktop , cellphone away from the owner kept away , ears free of devices, and wrist and arms verification process once and again and again because the exam environment it wasnt working....on my final attempt, the exam got finally loaded but was super super super slow to navigate around it and the worst part: out of the 2 hours allowed, I had only 50 minutes remaining .... (facepalm)... during all this time, I was in communication with the proctor, but he was not able to fix anything, so I had to call PSI support service phone, (showing up at the top of the secure browser) and after being put in waiting line for long time, they finally created a ticket for my issue... 5 days have passed after I did the exam and I dont have a mark for it, nor a re scheduling option nor the re take option available... PSI EXAM PLATFORM REALLY SUCKS!!! 3 hours passed since I initiated the check in process and I was able to file a case... and we are paying 400 dollars for this sucking experience ???? I want my money back
