small correction...if one container fails then pod doesnt die or restart..there's a concept called pause containers which is responsible to hold the networking namespace or u can say settings for that pod and because of pause container two containers can talk to eachother inisde same pod using localhost and port no

Hey Riya I have 2 doubt 1) Suppose i have deployed web application and my database is outside the cluster so can we use 3rd use case (proxy container) in Production environment. 2) suppose my web application want to connect database service so how can I call database from kubernates platform if my database is outside?

Thanks for watching my video on Kubernetes MultiContainer Pods! I appreciate your questions. Here are the answers: 1. Yes, in a production environment where your database is outside the cluster, you can definitely utilize the 3rd use case (proxy container). By using a proxy container, you can establish a secure connection between your web application running in the Kubernetes cluster and the external database. This allows your web application to communicate with the database seamlessly. 2. If your web application needs to connect to a database service outside of the Kubernetes platform, you can make use of various methods. One common approach is to use the Kubernetes Service resource as an abstraction layer. You can create a Service that represents the external database, providing an endpoint within the Kubernetes cluster. Then, your web application can connect to the database by using the Service's endpoint as the target address. I hope this clarifies your doubts. Feel free to ask if you have any more questions!

What is the difference between containers and init containers?
@DevOpsPro
@DevOpsPro Год назад
Init containers run before the main containers and are often used for setup or initialisation tasks, while main containers run the application processes.

Hello @devidas90, I'm sorry that you feel the non skipable ads irritating, but since few months back, youtube has removed the option from creators to select the type of ads we wanted to show. Now it's all upto youtube to select which and what type of ads to show. So there's nothing we can do for this.
