Another snow storm in the midwest! This time I got to test out the snow pusher a little harder than the last video. This snow was wet and heavy! please like and subscribe!
I have the bx23S as well. What a great little tool. Excellent video. Really gives you a sense of the pusher. I have a 300ft drive and big pad to do. For the last several years I just used front loader. It always got the job done but slow. This year I got a land pride 60” rear blade that I plan to use with my front loader. I just got yesterday. Of course the snow is melted now. 😂 Anyway placing rear blade very offset so it hangs out past the side and catches overflowing snow from the front loader’s right side. Essentially using it for cleaning as the loader leaves messy overflow piles on either side. If I don’t like it then I will go with this pusher. I have a leveling use case for the blade so will keep it regardless.
Ha bummer on the melted snow! Or is it lol. That is a good sized driveway! I would like to get a rear blade! What you describe as basically using it as a side wing is a great application! I bet that will work out just fine for you!
I put on my High Molecular plastic skid shoes on today and my 60” high molecular back drag blade just came in today from UPS. I ordered it on Amazon ….Tusk Subzero UHMW 60” replacement blade kit with hardware. About $59. Again, I thank you for putting me on a great path. Kevin
Thanks man! I love your channel! It was a great source for me when doing research towards buying mine! Keep up the great work and thanks for the comment
You prolly dont give a shit but does any of you know a method to get back into an instagram account? I was dumb lost my password. I love any help you can give me
@Sean Vance thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im in the hacking process now. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
You'll run out of traction long before you run out of power. Have areas along the driveway where you can go left or right to push the snow off to the sides otherwise you'll end up with a large pile out front that'll eventually stop you in your tracks. I have the BX2680, love it, but like I said you run out of traction long before you run out of power.
@@WichhartAcres Thanks, I’m going to buy some. I just got a Bx2380 and wasn’t sure if the 60” pusher would be too big, but your tractor seemed to have no trouble at all. Thanks again for the reply.
@@tomneedmorebeer5525 You have the same tractor as the BX23s, just without the sub-frame for the backhoe which is what the "S" means on the BX23S. Pretty awesome little tractors. I have the BX2680, love it, plenty of power not enough traction LOL.
Hey Harley! With enough weight in the back I bet it would handle it! If it doesn't work sell it for what you paid for it. They don't lose much value. Thank you for commenting and watching! I would it if you sub'd to the channel!
Ive actually not tried the bucket yet for snow removal. I bought the snow pusher when I bought the tractor. Do you have experience with moving snow with a bucket?
I have the same set up and use the pull back allot. After about the first year I noticed that the factory cutting edge was wearing out. I took a piece of strap steel and bolted it to the pull back. It's set up so that when one side wears out I can flip it over. I take care of 25 driveways though.
@@coreysellers4529 Thanks for the comment man! I think the pullback kit is a must if you have the pusher! I need to get some driveways lined up like you! Thats a great idea for extra wear edge up top. I will keep that in mind. Have you had to replace your bottom edge yet?
