You should not turn the steering wheel when there is a load in the bucket and the tractor is not moving. It is a surefire way to wear out your steering system in a hurry. I too have a B7800 (1300 hrs) and it is a great machine as long as one understands that it is a small machine.
OldFarm Sawmill thats not true. The steering system has fluid in there to keep that from happening. Who ever told you that is sucking pond water with there ass.
Good video. I've had my B7800 since 06, I've been very happy with it. When I use it to cut and drag firewood, I wish I had a heavier tractor but I also mow with mine and am glad its not any heavier when mowing. Have to ask, is the jar mounted on the B7800 your cup holder? When I bought my B7800 my wife harrassed me for the price I paid and it didn't even have a cup holder. LOL
I dont think you are comparing apples to apples here because they are different size tractors. It's like comparing the F150 to an F250 and saying that the 250 hauls more payload and weighs more...of course it does. Pound for pound the little 7800 is hard to beat and the emissions and electronics on the newer tractors is making it harder for the hobbiest to afford to keep one around long term.
I don't think that the differences are related to the size of tractor much as the design. The likes and dislikes I have would be the same regardless. I . currently looking for an L3400. I am hoping it will address some of problems and pet peeves I have on the l3100.
Going to sell the 3301. Don't like the fact that the regen process stops me from working. I already got a little older L3800 to replace it. Pretty much the same tractor as the L3301 just before tier 4 emissions standards kicked in
Sold the 3301, bought a little older l3800. Basically same tractor without the emissions nonsense. Also has rear remote hydraulics which I use for my 3 pt backhoe.
He must have made a sharp turn fast backed up from get go, you should pull away straight back and turn gradually, also you should never have the bucket top age higher above the hood of the tractor i have a kubota L3750 -1985 the only thing i don't like about it is that it is 2 wheel drive , now i am looking to buy another one like it but with 4 wheel drive , all these years i have it never a problem, even when i get stuck from my stupidity drove it in dip mud and i had no big problem getting out of 2 feet of mud.
Hi Yogi, Nice video. Can please let me know how to have the 3-point hitch down as have the belly deck (grass mower) up. I want to pull a small cart from the horizontal bar of the 3 point hitch. Any suggestion much appreciated B7800 tractor..
I have a 3301. I've had it 3 years now and has 430 hours. Hydraulics are garbage. Motor seems fine. Don't need the turbo. Hydraulic controls belong on a child's toy. Never again with Kubota for me.
