The LX2963 Snowblower does a great job on my driveway. Shoes are set in middle position so I am not picking to any gravel. New tractor so running at 2200 rpm.
I could watch these videos forever. The Kubota sounds like a smooth and efficient sewing machine motor. I’m pretty sure it throws the snow farther and faster than my John Deere. I’d consider buying one.
Gord thanks for the Compliment. I set it up based on everything I learned from your videos which have been a fantastic source of information for me. I have been doing firewood to heat our cottage/home for the past 40 yrs but never with a tractor. I’m really hoping the tractor with the grapple will make the job of pulling apart a tandem truckload of logs a lot easier. I have mounted 2 receiver hitches on my rear blade to accommodate a wide variety of hooks and log tongs that I have. I have now also installed an 8000 lb Warn winch on the rear blade to help pull logs closer to where I want them. So far I’m enjoying the tractor and looking forward to doing my 50 hr maintenance.
I decided the snow blower would be more practical for doing my driveway. My driveway has an awkward layout for plowing. I do use the plow for doing the road into my place which is a kilometre long. I am very happy with the Wingman plow. I have it sitting on a 4 wheel 24x30 dolly with 4 inch casters which make it very easy to get on and off the truck.
Thank you ......I am considering buying the same rig that you have got there. But I am wondering if I should just keep the front bucket and loader on the tractor and just get a inverted snowblower for the back. What would your opinion be? I was leaning towards buying a Kioti CK4010SE ....so trying to decide which brand to buy.
The fellow who does our road has an inverted blower and as he drives over the snow first it packs down. Lots of snow remains and in spring melt difficult to drive up the road for a few weeks. The front blower blows fresh snow and is able to get down to the base easily. I pack the first few snowfalls with my truck so I don’t blow all my gravel away. I have been very happy with the LX3310 to date.
Hi nice setup! I am waiting for mine to arrive should be here in early April. Can I ask you how long your setup is from the front of your snow blower to the end of your rear blade? It will give me an idea how my tractor will fit in my garage. Thanks MG
I measured the tractor soon after I received it in December. I don’t recall exactly the measurement but it would be 16-17 feet. My garage is 23 feet inside and the tractor with rear blade and blower fits in easily with room to walk all the way around. Hope this helps.
Marcel, I went and measured the LX3310 with Rear Blade and Front End Loader with bucket and it came to 16’ 1”. I think the snowblower stuck out just slightly more but not much.
Assuming MSRP is kept to, this would be $53-62,000. $42500 for the tractor with cab, $6-8k for the blower depending on bundle discount, approx $2000 cargo fee, and then 5-18% tax depending on your province. With supply/demand as it is, you may be on a 6 month+ wait list and prices could be marked up quit a bit.
