Series on refurbishing a Kubota KX161-3S Mini Excavator. This is Part 2. Installing a quick attach coupler and hydraulic thumb. Yes I am wearing crocs. This machine has since been sold so that's why it's not in any of my newer videos.
What ended up happening to your pin Neal? I lift a lot of heavy logs with my KX and I've been thinking about all the extra wear and tear I've been putting on mine. - Samuel
Nothing really. The "used" coupler, bucket and thumb I bought came with a pin and it was in better shape so I used the new "used" one. All those parts came off a u45 that caught on fire with very low hours.
@@NealORussa I’m asking about the dipper arm pin you mentioned in the beginning of your video . . . what got repaired at the machine shop. I just recently subscribed so I’m not caught up on what happened.
@@TheTennesseeFrontier oh gotcha! I bought it like that. Machine had around 3900 hours and it can from Nashville tn where they have some tough ground. This video shows the slop it had. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KyBzAWU2GxA.html
