So if I have an SVL75-2 with adjustable high flow (17-29.3 GPM) capacity, and want to run an attachment that has capacity up to 27 GPM, can I set the hi flow NOT to exceed 27 GPM?
Yes, you can, by adjusting the flow number...0 through 14. Manual should say what they correspond to. 24 GPM is standard flow on my SVL95, and 41 GPM is high flow. I just run it on max (14) for my forestry mulcher. Haven't had an over temp alert, ever. Max Pressure is the same for both...3553 psi.
@@victoriajankowski793 The manual doesn't say what they correspond to at all. If you assume that zero is 0 gpm and fourteen is 40 GPM (2018 specs) you can calculate what the numbers should be on the 0-14 scale, but then there is the Left and Right factor. It is very unclear. I made a spreadsheet to try and figure it out. The Takeuchi system (75%, 50%, 25%) settings are easier to navigate, albeit with less adjustability range. The problem is that if the assumptions are wrong and you overpressure your attachment it costs a lot of money. I have just purchased a 2018 SVL-95SHFC and a 30 gpm max disc cutter and am trying to make sure of these same things.
I rented one of these machines. There is only one set of hydraulic lines coming to the quick disconnects. I followed your instructions, and turned the auxiliary up to 14. I'm using a cutterhead, and it still seems weak. I'm thinking that maybe the flow pump is not engaged, and it is running on low flow. Hello on automatically, or is there a switch to change from high to low? I also don't understand the right and left setting, how does this work?
*typo- does high flow come on automatically? Not "hello". This reminds me of when I was using a Deere 333e and there was a button to press that engaged the high flow.
@@MikePrice007 once you turn on the auxiliary flow you will press and hold the aux button down again until the aux light starts blinking. Then it will be in the high flow setting.,
It the skidsteer has a set of one fitting on top and 2 pairs on fitting below is a high flow. If it has only one pair of fitting more likely is a standard flow.
What the hell is “14” down the right side and “9” down the left ???? Does that make sense to anyone? Wish I would have watched this before I bought one of these machines.
OMG. Kubota really went for “intuitive” in their design. Get a degree in 1980’s programming languages so that you can properly program a Kubota. FORTRAN anyone?? Honestly I cannot conceive or imagine a worse interface for a $80,000 machine. I just bought one and I had to go to RU-vid and watch a video to figure out how to program it because the manual is awful and the controls you would never figure out without someone showing you. Please, don’t buy one of these.
