I'm all for letting kids work to instill ethic and discipline in them, but messing around with machinery that could cut their little feet off is stupid on the part of the adults who filmed this. Tears will be shed in the near future, I guarantee you.
That’s a little dramatic. They’re not doing it for fun, it’s their livelihood. The whole family has to work in order to survive. They have to learn sometime. Plus, everything in this world has inherent risk. A kid can fall down a set of stairs and break their back/neck too, but here we are with staircases installed in every house and letting our kids use them. Again, they have to learn how to do it eventually.
