That turns the RTV into a real year-round machine. No matter how much snow you will get, that won't stop you from hauling wood! Very impressive! I am assuming the price is also impressive too! I've once met Mr. Pierre Marcouiller, the former president of Camso. Very kind guy. Thanks!

Thanks guys. We love them! I'm going to rig up my portable winch on the back of it and use it like a mini-tractor in the snow to pull out some softwood logs and firewood poles. I couldn't get to the woods in the Winter for years so this will open some options for me even if my productivity is lower!

@@OakMountainAcotts no doubts. As an other commented, as long as you don't try and climb across a fallen tree or stumps and get hung up, you are going to really enjoy them. I guess that the only down side is that with the tracks installed on my Grizzly, my ATV will not fit in my 4x8 trailer as the tracks are wider than the tires

They are good, I have them on my Atv and love them on my 5th year. There is 1 thing that you will have to look out for. Trees that will spring up after your front tracks go over so that it will catch the rear tracks they do not have a good angle of attack to climb over.

a good idea if you gonna use it in lots of fluffy snow would be to get one of those large plastic sheets and mount it to the under side so its nice and flat so it covers places where snow can get hung up letting it slide making it much harder to get stuck.

How's she goin'? Those tracks should serve you well in your application. One thing I always was concerned about when I gear something up for off roading, is when you get stuck you're really stuck. So your idea of getting a winch for snigging logs is a good one as it may help you get out of a spot someday!! Nice set up you have now folks. Take care!!!

Thanks for the video. Any issues steering, can you turn as sharp as you can with wheels ? If I put tracks on mine it will be that brand. My idea was to build skies for my trailer for when I have the tracks on it.
@OakMountainAcotts
@OakMountainAcotts 2 года назад
That would be an excellent idea. The steering radius is not as tight but it is not a big deal. There are cables underneath that act as limiters so that your tracks do not contact the frame.

Good day to you. I do have these tracks since 6 years now on my 2009 Club Car XRT 1550 diesel (''huge'' 20hp engine ;-) ) and it work very well (35-50hrs/year, only winter use) Except usual maintenance and cleanup, nothing to report except wider turning radius, slower speed and a little higher fuel consumption. I just remove them to put back wheels for summer and will clean/inspect them before their ususal storage time. Since years, those tracks are design and made localy in Québec. Good for you to ''test'' traction and capabilities because with tracks you can go further but also can go to be stuck further. Be well.

Hi, I took the tracks off in the Spring and put them back on with the first snow. Took about 2-3 hrs to change but got easier every time. I had one bearing on a bogie wheel fail. $60 for replacement parts. I liked them but awfully slow on the Kubota. I just traded the RTV on a 4060 Grand L tractor but kept the tracks. Hope this helps.
