Wow, 236 hours. I have the same mower, 1,750 hours and it still looks and works like new. Just basic maintenance with no mechanical issues. Like you I clean mine after every mow. It is also garage kept. I would buy another one tomorrow! It is just a beast of a mower!
I’m with you. These are awesome mowers and if taken care will last a long time. I think I’m up to 272 hours. The new Kubota retails near $17k. By the way, still using the original battery which now 16 years old.
Personally speaking I believe the 326 to be one of the best mowers. It’s not perfect, but like most things, if you watch over it, it’ll go the distance. The deck gearbox oil volume is a weak link so keep a close watch on the oil getting too low and change frequently, otherwise this machine is rock solid. We’re still running the original battery from 2006.
Thank you so much for this and your other video on maintenance. Video is far better than the manual for finding grease zerks. Only three I couldn’t get too in the back. Will keep trying though. Hubby recently passed and I’m trying to learn all I can about taking care of things. Thanks again for your time in making these videos.
You might want to watch our Gearbox oil change video. The gearbox is small and therefore the oil capacity is relatively low. Therefore I tend to change it out more frequently than the manual calls for. The cost of that gearbox is near $1,000. Cost of a quart of Amsoil 75w110 is $14.
I have the same mower I have the same number of hours on my it's been a great mower for me it mower great to thank for the great video and have a great day
The "s" designation means it's around 1 mph slower than the ZD326, and the front tires aren't flat - proof. There may be other minor differences but those are the only two I'm aware of -
@@Stromzilla That's what I did. Bought a one owner non commercial use with 825 hours on it. 2008 326P. It's worth as much if not more today than when I bought it 6 years ago. Half price of new. It's a tank and gets all recommended maintenance. I expect it to outlast me.
@@Stromzilla ok thanks. Have watched nearly every video and review on them and couldn’t figure out what the difference was. Your Kubota videos are very good too by the way 👍🏼
Very nice, I have the ZG 327. I was told I need to put a Innertube in one of the rear wheels at it has a slow leak in it. Could you tell me what size innertube I would need for one of those tires. Thanks
Should be the size that the tire is. Try using the green slime from Walmart or auto parts stores. Would think it would work well. That’s how we plan to deal with a slow leak in the front tire of our machine.
how fuel efficient is the diesel? can i ask what your mower cost back when you got it? there is one for sale near me that i might buy, not sure what i should pay
