Kuhn GA 6002 raking in single windrow configuration. Mid way in the video, you'll see the terrace completed, swinging in the rake, raising, moving to a new terrace and lowering and swinging back to 2 single windrows...
We rarely rake in single, the hay in this field was huge and the baler couldn't handle 2, so we raked in single, so I doubt I'll cut on the rake but thanks for the offer!
nice video! ok i got one these rakes too...did you notice that the rear windrow hay does not stand up nice like the front windrow hay? i see it in the video. if you try to move the rear curtain in, the same distance from the rotor teeth as the front curtain, the rear curtain will be hit by the front rotor teeth...i modified mine so i can adjust the rear curtain in the most rear position...cutting the arms and welding square tubing with lock bolts so the arms can move in and be locked in place..if you want me to take a video of my modification i will...it really stands up the rear windrow now, which helps in drying the hay better.
Yes it will rake either single or double. Moving the back curtian further back releases a stop so the rake will swing into single window mode. Add the second curtain and you are ready for single..
