This is a awesome video. I need to know what seals go on the rod end though. I am rebuilding this cylinder and I don't trust that all the seals where put back in it the last time it was rebuilt. I have the felt, bearing and the beveled seal. The beveled seal seems loose and makes me think there was a backup seal in with it. The failure is that it blows oil out of the breather hole.

Asked and answered. I can actually see there is a O-ring on the oil side of the beveled seal that I am missing.

I haven't done that job before so I'll pay attention for sure if I do. Mistakes oh ya I've had to learn with my wallet too. LOL

My dad is looking for where to buy the cylinder seal kit his mower is old and doesn't have a model number on it so we aren't 100% about it but he knows it is a kyhn. Any idea where to get the kit?

The seal you forgot, what direction does it go?

You might have wasted money on the first kit but look at the money you saved on someone else's labor.
