Kuhn Rotary Rake - how NOT to run it 

Raking grass hay with a Kuhn rotary rake. It makes a nice fluffy windrow, allowing the hay to dry faster with less sun bleaching and better feeding into the baler.
The rake is being run at full 540 rpm PTO speed, which can cause leaf shatter and makes sloppy windrows.
Check out some of my other videos where you will see I learned my lesson, and run at a lower PTO speed and a higher ground speed to gently push the hay into a controlled and well formed windrow!
