My dad fought kidney failure until he passed away in 2018. He was a hardworking father to his five daughters and me, his only son. After he died, we leaned on each other and prayed for strength. He was my hero and made sure we had everything we needed. If he were still here, he would have been proud of his many grandkids. Towards the end of his beautiful life, my sisters took care of his daily needs, and I had the privilege of being his caregiver, even changing his diapers. One night, as I cared for him, I told him, "I'm your son, so I'll take care of you'' since he was bit hesitant and embarrassed. Despite not always being close, looking after him is one of the biggest blessing I cherished with me, Im glad that we forgive each other. I'm grateful for that time. Dad, I love you so much.
