KUKIRIN recently released the G2 Master, which features TWO 1000-watt motors running on a 52V lithium battery. This combination propels this electric scooter to a top speed of 37 MPH. Full suspension, all-terrain tires, and high ground clearance also allows you to have fun on OR off road.

I've bought this scooter and I'm waiting for it to arrive atm. I'm wondering if its possible to upgrade the battery for further range down the line? I would possibly be able to build my own lithium battery (samsung or lg cells) to avoid sketchy prefabs from china. But i just want to know if its possible, would you happen to know?

The deck only has so much space. You may have to run an external battery mounted on the stem and wire it parallel to the factory one.

Real nice review. Been contemplating between this and a g3 pro, but living in a busy metro area, I lean towards this due tot it being lighter (though still heavy). I almost purchased a isinwheel s10 max and entertained iscotters mate model, but was forwarded about those Chinese brand scooters. With that said, how is the realizability and quality of this Kukirin brand? I’ve read they have a partner brand Ausum. My main gripe is that it did not come with a dedicated app as other manufacturers offer (even the cheap Chinese brands), and it does not have a key feature as the other models for security. Can you share on its quality and brand overall?

Depends what you value in a scooter and what you’re planning on using it for. If you’re looking for long range, this may not be it. If you’re just purely looking for the fastest thing you can get for $1000 and be able to go on light offroad trails with dual motor and all terrain tires, then this will do

4:44 *Staggering the rotors is totally normal. I'm sure if you give it some thought, you can probably figure out why at least at first glance, designers figured that would be a good idea, right? If you have all the bite on one side, they could conceivably fear that hard braking would pull the scooter towards the one side of the rotors. Whether or not that happens in practice, that was the theory behind staggering the rotors.

I would recomend kukirin g3pro it goes up to 65km/h and it has range of 70-80km per charge and its good for offroud

So I’ve never ridden a G4 before, so I can’t directly compare by scale rating unfortunately. Not everything can be confirmed by just comparing spec sheets.

@@PatOutdoors from the research I’ve done it appears the G2 master has faster acceleration due to dual motors, while the G4 has a higher top speed.

@@AJCoReTV yes, I went over it on my second video about the Kukirin g2 max (a week or so after this video was published.) over 30 mph I have to brace myself over bumpy roads. Good upgrade would be to add a steering damper

@@PatOutdoorssadly none exist for G2 Master. Unless you can weld a bracket to the neck. There is a V2 version of G2 Master, which has an adjustment to stiffen steering… but the unit that arrived yesterday was a v1 😢

G2 master is a lot better than the g4 if you not looking only at the 11 inch tires… The g2 master get dual motor it’s a lot better to get grip on road/offroad than the g4 singlemotor. Second the g2 master is a lot more fun to drive than the g4. I can choose before a buy one of this 2 and whit a lot of information I choose the g2 master.

Do you really think a key is going to stop a thief? Fit an alarm, tracker & cable lock. Never leave out of site for more than 10 minutes then you have a chance.

Can the blue kukirin light on the side be turned off without disabling all the lights? Im going to be purchasing the g2 master in afew days so watching as many videos as possible to make sure i get the correct scooter for my needs in my price range

Worst case you just have to unscrew the deck and physically unplug them, I've had to do that on one of my scooters.

I haven’t tried to do so since I like the way it looks. I’m sure you could take the deck covers off and physically disconnect them if you really wanted to though.

Just bc it isn't Samsung or LG doesn't mean it'll fail. I have a bluetran lightning that I got for 1000 bucks and it has sincpower battery cells and it'll leave your scooter in the dust in range and speed more than likely unless u have something that's 3k plus

It's a budget scooter at 850 Euro I installed EXA suspension Nutt hydraulic brakes new road tyres. Now I have a 3000 euro scooter for 1,200 Euro. So far the battery is doing fine. Can you recommend a better deal?

For $1,000, I'm not sure what else one could ever expect. It seems to be the most ideal beginner scooter for my 13year old son. He can learn the basics for an entire school year.
