Sh$t.. I suggest you reach out to kukirin or the seller. I do not know the solution for that. Actually, it would be great if you would get back and let others know what is the solution, I would pin the comment up there.
Hello,as promised the update: I received the new battery, problem is fixed. I opened the old battery after, and a simple cable connector(between 2 wires )was off.
Good review, thanks. I have a question: is the controller integrated into the battery? If so, this seems like a disadvantage if/when you need to replace the battery...
@@BohmanderTCG Well, unless they make you register every electric bicycle.. then you will have to register its factory name, and they will look it up...
8 months ago 800. Now it is something 670 on their page. It looks promising. After having 3 bikes, I just came to the realization that one must calibrate about 400/year for ebike. I just told to my neighbors. They said, it is damn expensive. I said, nope. If you buy a regular for 500 and spend 500 in the next 10 years, it is 100/ year. For extra 300 it takes me up about 100 km to the statosphere. And helps in a smooth ride for 10K kms. No, expensive is the regular. I know, i did it for decades. I couldn't see a hill anymore😅
Everything is very personal. For some it is too expensive, for others too cheap. Someone rides on a non-electric bike 400km every day and laughs at e-bikes, while someone with an injury is just dreaming to do 10km on an electrical one...
Hi. What is your height? Will it fit a height of 183cm? What size frame is it 19 or 20? (M or L)? Are the wheels small? How long does one km charge last?
no, unless they are wet in my case they do not squeak. Did you work-in the brakes of a new bike? You are supposed to accelerate many times and then brake, but never fully stop of block the brakes when they are new. In that way you get even wear-in between the discs and the pads
after some ride they started to squik..think one side of brake plates (right) grinds disk so I think will need some adjustment...and one more strange thing..after only 40 km of ride.. error code 06 or 02 ...
I was actually shocked. This is the fastest thing on 36V I have ever tried to be honest. I do not know how many amps do they pull through it to get a 90kg man to 40kmh on 36v. I think majority of “500w” motors are in reality like 250 or 200. Can it be that these guys just decided to write the truth for once? :D
Well, they are a bit different style bikes mate. KuKirin is more of a hybrid/commuter and K2 more of an entry level MTB. V3 is faster than M2, M2 has better brakes. I cannot recommend one over other, because it is a very much personal choice..
Well, it can happen to any li-ion battery, but it is not something that “normally happens”. Kukirin are making personal EVs for many years, I am personally calm about the pack.
@2:40 this is so stupid.. I don't understand why they don't put factory back light. I have old version kugoo kirin v1 b2 and also had to buy rear light.. they even have rear/brakes light output on controller..
For starters you can just use lower speed mode. There is nothing in the manual I just checked. Have you tried pressing both + and - buttons at the same time after turning on? There must be a way to get into parameter menu and adjust max speed. I might try to play around tomorrow
you can enter the parameter menu by pressing + and - buttons and holding them for a few seconds. However, I do not see which parameter would be the obvious speed limit. Let me ask the seller@@naeem.80
Here you go, reply from the seller: “The e-bike only supports speed limiting by switching gears; it cannot directly set a specified value or otherwise switch the speed.” 🤷🏻♂️ so it is only speed modes mate
It depends on speed, weight, wind, tire pressure, hills, etc. I also never tried it as I can’t resist pedaling. I find it weird and uncomfortable to just sit on a bicycle 🙄
I have done a review of the M2 as well. These are two diferent bikes. This one has mudguards, more like a “touring” type frame, rear rack and a higher max speed. Eleglide m2 is more of a hardtail mtb. Also KuKirin V3 is a bit smaller frame size than the eleglide m2
