Kula Shaker: Peasants, Pigs and Astronauts doc 

One of the most underrated musician of 90's amazing Kula Shakers...

I'm the same age as Crispian's mum, Hayley Mills, and I loved watching her movies when I was a child. I imagine as she was a teenager in the 1960's like me, she would have been into some of the amazing bands around then and she probably had some influence on her son's musical tastes; if so I'm very glad because Kula Shaka are an amazingly talented band; one of the best to come out of the 90's. To be able to vary their songs - from Shower your Love to S.O.S shows their talent and it's good to hear them talk about the world around us - that they actually think and care about stuff. Love them.

I'm currently buying back my Kula Shaker albums on vinyl and this album is blowing my mind. With everything going on in the world the lyrics are so on point. "This is the age of decay and hypocrisy". It really does feel like we are in the Kali Yuga from Hinduism which clearly influence the music.

Yeah i was really into Kula Shaker as a kid. Everybody else was into Backstreet Boys and i gravitated towards these lads. I like how music in the 90s had a space for it, yknow?

So glad you got nagged until you posted this. One of my favorite bands and albums ever - psychedelic 60s in the 90s and then dragged into a new millenium! Forever psychedelic!

I've enjoyed this album for years & never knew Bob Ezrin produced it. Wow!

Not watched the vid yet but just wanted to say (before watching ) that I'm a metal head and this is one of my all time fav albums! Great feel, passion and of course great music. Kula Shaker should have been bigger.

Biggest band in England between may 1996 to 1997 while oasis were away got a unfair press but k was a outstanding album and was number 1 unfortunately they took to long to release the second album sound of drums the first single off Peasants pigs and astronauts was put out a year before the album which only got to number 9 that was pretty much it then they split came back again made a few more albums which have been ok but never got the popularity back they had in 1996.
