No nazal at all kumar. does't matter what poeple say You are the king of melody (until today ) thats a fact, no one can take it from you. So hats off when some body tolks about you. Yes he is right. Little nasal touch adds more melody to the song. People think nasal touch is bad. Nasal touch is bad when its in unnecessary amount but kumar sanu had perfect nasal touch..... Singers like amit kumar used to sing without nasal touch and he sounded so dull and old. Where as kumar sanu always fresh voice

Love you Sanu da ..dont matter those who hate you.. You correctly says nasal tone gives you extra sweetness in your voice. I don't compare with anyone (singer)... every singer with his/her own identity so don't compare with any one..I heard your song almost 34 years and I personally believe that you deserve National Award..

Voice quality matters a lot for singer even more than his tallent. Voice quality of Udit Narayan was much beautiful than other singers in his era, that's why Udit Narayan got more songs then Kumar Sanu, Sonu Nigam, Abhijeet, Sukhwinder & Vinod. Just like Alka Yagnik did the same in female category. In the female section, Alka Yagnik had the most beautiful voice that's why she got more songs than Anuradha, Kavita, Sadhna, etc. The whole thing is " voice quality ". A beautiful voice matters more than your talent. Those who had the most beautiful voice they got the opportunity to sing the most songs and this is justified too. This should not surprise anyone.

Voice quality in sabhi singers k bhut achhi h.Aap udit ji k प्रशंसक हो mai kai baar aapka ye comment padh chuka hu.Bilkul unki sweet voice h but jo romance aur dard sanu da apne voice m dalte h wo shyad udit ji nhi.mai dono singers ka fan hu.apne time m sanu da ne dominant kiya bollywood m chahe kitni bhi sweet voice kyu na ho.har gana har singer k awaz m fit nhi baithta.usi tarah sonu nigam exceptional & most talented.

साल 1995 में जब उदित नारायण ने गियर बदला तो कुमार सानू को बहुत पीछे कर दिया था क्योंकि 70% गाने उदित नारायण को मिलने लगे थे जिसकी वजह से कुमार सानू का करियर ही बर्बाद हो गया. खासकर साल 1998 के बाद कुमार सानू को उदित ने रेस से ही बाहर निकाल दिया था, कंपटीशन तो बहुत दूर की बात थी. सिर्फ नदीम श्रवण के कंपोजिशन में कुमार सानू को इक्का दुक्का गाना मिल जाता था, वो भी नदीम श्रवण की दया से. वरना किसी म्यूजिक डायरेक्टर ने late 90's में भाव ही नहीं दिया कुमार सानू को. इतना बुरा हाल कर दिया था उदित नारायण ने कि कुमार सानू को गाना मिलना लगभग बंद हो गया जिसकी वजह से कुमार सानू का करियर समाप्त हो गया. इसके अलावा जो गाने दोनों ने गाया उसमें हमेशा उदित नारायण का ज्यादा हिट हुआ, जैसे कि - हम यार हैं तुम्हारे हमसे मिला करो, परदेसी परदेसी, ओ दिल तोड़ के हंसती हो मेरा, ये दिल क्या करे, सलमा पे दिल आ गया टाइटल सॉन्ग , राजा को रानी से प्यार हो गया, etc.

आपने इस प्रकार के कमेंट इस पोस्ट पर क्यों किए है? क्या आपने इस इंटरव्यू को देख नहीं? यहां तो कुमार सानू और उदित नारायण के अंतर तुलना नहीं किया गया है। मैं उदित नारायण और कुमार सानू दोनों का ही गाना बहुत सुना परंतु सच तो यह है कि उदित नारायण कभी भी एक छत्र राज नहीं कर पाए। 1998 के बाद सोनू निगम, अभिजीत उदित नारायण पर भारी थे। और ऐसे बहुत गाने हैं जहां कुमार सानू उदित नारायण के ऊपर भारी पड़े थे जैसे तेरे बिन में कुछ भी नहीं, जानम मेरी जानम, मेरे घर का पता, दिल मेरा चुराया क्यों, यह बंधन तो प्यार का बंधन है, मुझे तो होने लगा है प्यार। जहां पर उदित नारायण कुमार सानू के साथ गाए थे, उनमें से अधिकतर समय उदित नारायण का गला लड़कियों के जैसे लगते थे कुमार सानू के धमाकेदार मरदानी वॉइस के आगे।
