Kumar is very talented ...im not Singaporean but love his jokes only kumar can poke the borax at his own nationality and get away with it. Hes a treasure . I lived in Singapore 1981 to 1983 .dont know if kumar was performing then ...if he was i would be front row had I known... laughter is the best Medicine . Keep posting videos Kumar !!!!

That slang that accent is d beauty. N there s no doubt Singaporean - malayan mixed with bit of Chinese.... That s so much better than artificial western accent of westnahirians of SL, n it's not kumar fault ppl don't laugh.. Sure the ticket price was so high. that's y there were less yound crowd at d front, Fill d front rows with bunch of longface emotionless zombies.. Just Watch his National day Singapore performance, c how much d crowd enjoys it.. Sad to c he just talks, to a bunch of ppl who lost their ability to laugh long back. Some ppl says Russell s better we will laugh for him that's him... Oooh plzzz, sure can be lot worse n lots of ppl gonna walk out even before he even warms up, then smash u all with his unimaginably abusive yet don't give a f*** attitude. Still what went wrong with d audience is that, It seems like some of the ppl came to c a stage drama or a concert... Have no idea what's going on ....... 😅😂😳
Yes Kumar tried hard to make the Sri Langkans laugh easily like his fellow Singaporeans who would laugh at almost every line of his type of jokes. Some of them fell flat to their ears !Those were the same jokes he cracked in Singapore and they enjoyed them and were laughing so much... probably Kumar needs to research what would make most of those wealthy and more cultured Sri Lankans to burst out laughing like in Singapore. Sometimes there were dry and silent moments during his comedy. The LADY interviewing some attendees was trying her best to get them to say Kumar was the best program for the day. He couldn't adjust to the crowd. They never came to see a comedian . They came to see a drama perhaps with some comedy ! There was definitely lack of audience appreciation ! Kumar was his usual self though !
It's always sad when the crowd hardly responds to a legendary performer like Kumar. I suppose she's better suited for Malaysia and Singapore only. Love her jokes so much and wish to attend her live performance one day. 💖💖
Kumar was great as always but it must’ve been hard to present Singapore’s humour to a foreign audience (Notice the semi-dry responses). Good job to Kumar!
Kumar is a fabulous comedian in sg n msia...where the local context of his jokes, his accent n lingo will be understood...unfortunately he is not appropriate for sri lanka....different context n lifestyle

I am big fan of kumar but first time I see him suffering from nervousness n first time I feel he failed to make audience laugh also he dnt know he doing stand-up comedy in Colombo where people dnt like vulgar jokes,I see no response from audience on his sex jokes ,I feel RIP Kumar is thos show
Also the lady aisking for feedback from arranged audience made me laugh more than kumar comedy as people giving feedback absolutely dnt have clue they damn f**** (beep beep) over acting with accents ☺️☺️
It’s sad when a standup Comedian is unable to entertain the audience sufficiently. Humour has different levels. You need to know your audience. If you pitch wrongly, it is sad because you may just get sympathy laughters. Comedians don’t feel good about that.
Kumar is really an AWESOME comedian! LOVER her humour but the crowd there is on a different wavelength than Singaporeans/Malaysians…not Kumar’s fault I if they don’t get it…
The jokes doesn’t relate to Sri Lanka people n issues like religion or sex is very sensitive to e ageing audience, kind of goin off track. The jokes need to be more relevant to where he was invited to perform. In Spore context, he is e most comical n spontaneous comedian ever, no doubt abt it.
That opening "speech" by that male, didn't even get as much as a giggle!🤔 Pathetic!🙄 Where's the confetti?! He tried to made a joke, but he was the biggest joke!😂😂😂
He is just speaking good English the best he could and it obviously will have an accent that will come from his own background. So, the accent that he has is not an English accent. He pronounces his words clearly - and I am afraid that some people think that is is a "fake" accent. He is a good presenter - for his audience - not for you!
Sri Lankan doesn’t want jokes about Singapore.. They’re clueless about most of it especially the slang.. That’s why presenting abroad need to be on universal issues,universal approach. For me this show was a failure.
@@vocalistSL yeah...most of his joke somehow not really working especially when u talk about sex, shit and religion. some might find it too much and cant accept it. i would love to hear talking about his mother, personal experience while travelling, Singaporean fake accent, MRT, airport, airplane and taxis.

Horrible video!!! Cut the show to introduce people's review is annoying!, I do get you want to promote your events and show your assume important guests, but to anyone who doesn't know them and have a lil' knowledge about video edition, will say this is horrible! He is a good comedian, on a terrible video edition. Couldn't even saw it entirely, all those comments between the show just make it annoying as hell.
